I tend to skip a lot more tracks on that album than others (except A Song for XX)

Free & Easy is so loud it's obnoxious almost
HANABI always bored me
everywhere nowhere starts off really dark and mysterious and then turns into Greatful Days bubble gum pop
Voyage is ok, but far from any of my favs
Close to you is pretty bland
Independent doesn't really work that well as a studio track

Lol.

I love the Bassoon in the bridge of Dolls!

And July 1st gets on my nerves sometimes... her voice sounds kind of jarring in the chorus at times...

I think RAINBOW would be one of the best Ayu album ever released so far.
The tracks are mainly Pop genre and it has a little-bit of Alternative and rock feel (Heartplace and WE WISH).

If ever they include the REAL album title track, it would be a huge hit!

Just because Ayu composed most of the songs on I am... doesn't mean that it's the best album or better than RAINBOW.
I personally almost never listen to I am... because I'm SO bored.
Unlike with RAINBOW,which is mostly a refreshing album and it's awesome.

That's my opinion.
(screw I am...)

I find RAINBOW a little generic.. I like this album a lot, but I dunno what makes me think it's not as good as some of her other albums. It's not her worst, but it's far from being her best for me.
Anyway, it has great songs like Dolls, Free & Easy, HANABI, Heartplace, Over..
