Well I know why I'm wary of a ballad single.
I don't want anymore bland songs like SUMMER TIME was. That seriously turned me off of NEWS. It's just so - plain. And plus their latest ballad, 美しすぎて Beautiful Eyes is not a song that will exactly keep you awake. It's so BORING. If they're going to release something, it better be good and not boring regular boyband crap. I want something different like Taiyou no Namida or upbeat and fun like weeeek was. No more SUMMER TIME like songs. PLZ KTHX. And ew - Koyama looked disgrossting on SCP. His hair is the same color as his skin. DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD: |
well, we are talking about Johnny's, boyband factory of Japan. :laugh but i see where you're getting at Kaori. ;) that's probably the reason why i haven't really been in the NEWS fandom as well. they just never stuck out to me like their fellow JE comrades because they really follow that regular boyband routine. even their most experimental songs don't have the edge that other JE groups have, IMO.
anyway, i think an album is due. weeeek, Taiyou no Namida, & SUMMER TIME should be enough single tracks for one. |

I don't have any problems with Yamapi's solos . He did Colorful in the Seishun Amigo single & it's quite nice really although I preferred KAT-TUN's Kame's solo Kizuna which's to die for .

Ai Nante is a really nice song but I'm very particular with my ballads and I usually listen to upbeat songs so that's why I don't play it that much...still nice though. But probably my 3rd least fav song on the album

I was watching MTV Mandarin just now , they have this 1 hour segment J & K Pop List every weekday from 7-8pm & they played Aiaigasa just now !
They were also giving away both editions of the single & a yellow umbrella . It was quite weird to hear the 'chinese' name of Tegomass just now :laugh Because it's MTV Mandarin , they have the traditional chinese wordings on the PV of Aiaigasa but I don't mind because at least now I know what the song's all about , well roughly & it's really cool |

yeah, Uchi & Kusano's suspensions are the biggest scandals. NEWS was put on hiatus for all of 2006. they returned with only 6 members at the 2006-2007 Johnny's CDL.
