this photographer though....Leslie Kee is my 4ever love, he makes everybody look gorgeous in the photos no matter if he/she beaut or not
his works with Ayu was her best photoshoots, why he's only with Koda now?! :(

Leslie Kee most recently worked with Ayu for a Cawaii! photoshoot a few months ago. It was the magazine where Ayu was kind of in her MW hair and it was like, black and white for half the photoshoot and such.

Now I understand why I dun feel much about this picture! I totally agree with you. That picture doesn't have meaning at all except glamorous. And now I know why I prefer A BEST 2 pictures over these ones. Probly people find she looks so weird/alien on A BEST 2 covers (esp those big eyes), but I think the covers match A BEST cover. That's why I like it.

Sometimes I want something more than beautiful. Ayu and her team used to produced meaningful covers, but now they just have beauty without the soul... (probly too exaggerate or extreme... LOL).

Well it's a compilation album, I wouldn't expect much meaning in the cover specially when it's not connected to the A BEST/BALLADS series.

Yeah that's why I'm OK if that's the cover. Of course, I would be lying if I said I didn't have expectation on this cover. I thought she would including some metaphors inside the cover. But now I guess the A COMPLETE is a glamorous package.. it's not bad actually :P.

For me it looks more pin up, than Ayu style, but she's still gorgeous, just I'm not feeling it like I said. Though maybe my perspective will change if I see a better quality and size of the photo.

I don't know, I'm not really liking it much, maybe it's just the angle. If it is real, it would probably look better with the correct angle, though it seems a bit empty for me, just Ayu being pretty with a pretty pose, no emotion.

But another part of me was hoping for a less glamourous type of cover .__.

A BALLADS cover was two Ayus to tell about self reflection and forgiving yourself
A BEST II cover was just close-up of Ayu's face to say that the music comes from her heart and soul

Yeah. You could say that I'm somewhat disappointed. Out of all of Ayumi's album releases, only MY STORY has (a) worse cover(s) than that. It's just so odd and off. When I'll see an official picture, it may not be so odd and/or off, but still.. I would have thought that a typical magazine-like pose wouldn't end up on her 10th anniversary compilation. But at least she isn't pouting or anything.

I would have really preferred a shot with at least 1/2 of her body visible [LOVEppears, Duty, I am..., RAINBOW, GUILTY CD-only etc]. I'm so close to wanting to Photoshop Ayumi's face on these things.

The pic could have been taken by someone in the printshop (that would explain why it was taken with a cellphone), beleave me i should know because i work in a printshop.:P

BUT it could also be fake because there's only 1 style of the cover.
I preordered it on cdjapan and it says there that there will be 2 versions of it....

from the angle I see this picture, it looks like she may be lying down on something, and not really smiling, she just has that sexy look on her face. We'll just have to wait it out and see if it's real or fanmade.

I have a feeling that the leak photo is Jacket A :P because sometimes cd+dvd versions have close-up shots while cd only versions are far away or shot differently... good example: my story covers

honestly, it looks like it could be legit but looking at my collection of boxed goods from Ayumi, it doesn't look to be the same quality.

Mind you i'm looking at the Complete Clips and 4 disc Complete Live Box A...

I feel that maybe it's one of a few box designs that whoever's making the boxes is pitching to avex. Maybe there are more then one design, and avex and Ayu still have to pick which one they want to release. It would explain why this box looks official enough, but at the same time, doesn't look official.

Melrose is at least 100% right on the A BALLADS meaning, based off RAINBOW and it's PV. We can't say about the others for sure, though the A BEST one sounds logical.
