Why is everyone so joyful about tasuku being the arranger for GREEN? His last songs have been generally considered the worst of the album ( (miss)understood, In The Corner, It was). I find the songs he's had a hand in to be very bland and boring, with only a few exceptions (Heartplace, Daybreak and fairyland, but then fairyland was arranged by HAL). I just hope it won't be another bland composition. I hope this song will have a nice intro, like Heartplace. But I don't see the good part of this. X_x

I have to note that he only composed fairyland, while H/\L arranged it.

Anyways, what's so good about tasuku? He arranged some of the generally considered worst songs of the albums the last few years ((miss)understood, GUILTY, It was, etc. ungh). I don't see what's so good about it lol. I really hope he didn't mess this song up. X_x

I love ayu's oriental sound songs (Will, theme of a-nation '03 and now GREEN sounds amazing from the preview).

There were a few polls on the last few albums, and the songs arranged by him were in the bottom 1 / bottom 2, I believe. I think then you can pretty much GENERALLY say that he hasn't been very good the last few years. 'cause imo good songs are generally liked, and those songs aren't THAT liked (generally speaking of course). His older songs were voted off pretty quickly as well, and don't show up often in top x lists. Except Heartplace, and a few others probably. But still.

I just found it funny how pretty much EVERYONE goes all HURRAYH! when almost everyone voted his songs away firstly. =p Now yes yes I know it's probably not the same people, but I just thought it was funny.

IMO he's a great arranger, but some of the songs he arranged have less than stellar melodies to begin with.

I agree. But they all had some pretty boring arrangements too, IMO. soft intro > chorus > soft in-between part > chorus > rocky bridge > chorus, mostly, I believe. This pretty much goes for a lot of his songs (About You, Beautiful Day, July 1st) but not all with rocky bridges of course. ^^ He did a good job on the July 1st intro, though...

IMO Naoto Suzuki is much much better. He has some great original arrangements (Dearest, SEASONS, End of the World, Who..., ever free, SCAR, etc.).

On the other hand, I'm happy that it's not HAL again because they tend to oversynth songs.

This tasuku guy arranging again? So probably that's why green have slight similarity with chinese song. Luckily, I love oriental song, so i'll just wait and see, but so far I am pretty satisfy with the choruses given.

I can't wait to listen to it. I love the interludes he makes, especially the ones on (miss)understood and Secret.
