I'm very glad that Ayu makes more things in China now. The idea of Hamasaki Ayumi to refer as an Asian singer and not only as an Japanese one sounds nice to me.

I think most people forget that Ayu's popularity in Japan is not all that great anymore. Besides just because someone was insanely popular six years ago does not mean that they will be liked six years down the road. Sorry to say, but she just might not be the same superstar that she was earlier. I am not trying to sound rude, however I do think that in a way she is trying to regain her popularity in Japan again by releasing fewer singles and by not appearing as often as she did in the past years. It may seem strange, but she can regain her popularity in Japan.

Well, we already know that GREEN is a melancholic rock number arranged by tasuku. It's like... probably It was-y.

I wouldn't expect too much from it.. but hopefully it's not some random BLUE BIRD + fairyland-ish affair mixed with glitter-esque scenery shots.

The CM doesn't air anymore. Usually after a month or so, they pull CMs off the air for new CMs to be used.

^I don't think Ayu will release an album for the rest of the year nor the beginning of the year. She needs 2 or 3 more singles to even do decent promotion for her next album. I don't want Mirrorcle World going her next album since it's been promoting and featured on AC.

I think we'll have new signle but no album... maybe for the first time we'll have a new album at the middle of the year... she can't do a good promotion to an album now!!

So anyway... our group's feelings now point to shanghai, since we're heading out there soon.

This time in Shanghai, there's a concert of course, we're doing the PV shoot for the new song, GREEN, which I mentioned before.

Choreography is gonna be done by Peco and ZIN.

Me & the dancers are gonna be all dancing dancing dancing, all crazy, with yelling.

It's a really fun production and I'm looking forward to it.

^She'll be doing things her way anyway. If she wants to dance, she'll dance. I guess we might be spoilt. Some artists have PVs in which they just sit/walk/stare/whatever and sing. At least we're getting proper PVs. Take "HEAVEN", for example, they could have taken the easy way and show movie footage.

I don't think ren0210989 meant to accept everything. We haven't even seen anything so far, yet some on here are already complaining. Some even were complaining, before we knew anything about the PV other than that it will probably be shot in Shanghai.

I was hoping for something like that, too, sometimes there's too many dancers just dancing too BSB or N'Sync-ish for me to enjoy the PV. The Making of Fairyland's video looked like they all had an awesome time, and that was cool, but the PV itself had far too much dancing. There's even one part in the middle of the PV where I'm too embarrassed to show anyone not an ayu fan the PV because the dancers throw themselves wildly into the air doing the most ridiculous-looking dances in front of the camera, haha. If it weren't for that one part I think I would've liked fairyland's PV more. I try so hard not to laugh when it comes on, but damn, is it hard. :P

Edit: Whoops, I mixed fairyland and Blue bird up - I was thinking of the fairyland making of, but the Blue Bird PV. Anyway, the PV I'm talking about was meant to be Blue bird and ignore the making of part.

It's great that she's filming in shanghai. Cost savings for one. I have no idea why recently she digs filming in the U.S. and that just drives up cost. Hope the PV has lots of substance.

About the dancing, who knows what the rest of Green sounds like, for example the verses could be very dancey or their could be a funky guitar solo as common with Ayu songs. I'm anxiously awaiting to hear Green in full to get the "whole picture". I can't judge the song just from the (awesome I admit) chorus in the CM. But it does seem to be a slower upbeat piece (or upbat ballad?) and somewhat oriental sounding.

Not really. Ayu's 30 now and she's using a different style to fit her image. Personally I don't think it would be wise to try and compete in the teenage-pop market since there are many many younger girls there. I like the fact she's having a mature image.
