People usually scan them in sections of the pictures then place them all together. Yes, that is definitely talent! I could never do it, it would probably end up looking distorted or I'd mess up Ayu's face or something. xD

In general, I highly agree with you. I mean, it's one thing to not like a photo and to say so. Whatever, that's your opinion. We've all done it. It's also one thing to notice she has an awkward facial expression. But it's completely another thing to complain about how many flowers she has in the photo, lol. >__> I also don't think people should always be complaining about Photoshop. It's almost 2010. Photoshop is a given in every single professional photo, and even in most photos taken by the average person. It's there, and you'll just have to live with it. Some people use Photoshop well, and others do not... I don't think it has to ruin a photo, though, even if there's too much. :\

And yes, I think that Ayu - and every other celebrity, I'm sure - must have tried very hard to make these photos look nice. I mean, who WANTS to look bad, especially when millions of people will see you like that, lol? :laugh And in the case of the 2010 calendar, I think Ayumi's hard work paid off very well. :yes It's gorgeous.

I ordered from YesAsia last week. I bought & single as well so that I could get free shipping (since you need 39$ and the calender is 30$). They said that the order would be shipped Nov 16...

I got an e-mail last Tuesday that my & single was shipped alone, even though I specified that I wanted the single and the calendar to be shippe together. Wth YesAsia. Lol

@ neff : do they charge you extra shipping fee?

When they sent me the email to say it was shipped there was a spot that said "Total charge: 0.00$" so I'm assuming they didn't charge me. I'll see when I get my credit card statment. Its still kinda weird...

Lower right Ayu's eyes are bugging out. I'm not quite sure why the shape of her head seems to change in shots lately... hm.

It's probably the bangs that throw off her look. God, she'd be so much cuter with a more youthful hairstyle. Straight across bangs don't work well for non-GaGas.

I agree. She doesn't look wet at all, and her pose seems stiff and unnatural for lying in the water too. That's why this isn't my favorite picture, I prefer the much more natural picture where Ayu is smiling. :)

I just realised, Ayumi has quite a bit of ear piercings. Like, I knew she had second lobes and such, but I don't think I've ever seen the cartilage piercing before.

This is MUCH better than last year's. Last year's calendar had lots of photos that I thought looked unnatural. I am not saying that this year's is not fully natural, but I definitely like these photos more!

lol yeah. Her face is sooo editted in all pics except for the one in the water (resembles her expression she had on the BLUE BIRD cover a lot). I don't like the strange "huh, me?" expression she does all the time. The theme and outfits are really nice but her face isn't at all. While she HAS such a beautiful face...

She looks absolutely Gorgeous on some and just nice on other. Overall I like this calendar. :)
