Yeah, I think so.

I don't think they differentiate between unique views/views per user at YouTube, so any time you look at her channel, that's a view. And then any time a video is playing and almost finishes (I think) that's a view too.

I'm pretty sure she knows, I don't think they can just make a channel for her and not tell her, I mean, it's on her official site. :P

I'm in love with the PVs which are in such high quality, it's about time she had her own youtube channel, especially since they had been removing all her PV and live uploads.

I don't think they will accidentally post them... the purpose of having this is to post the videos on YouTube before anyone can get them on from TV recordings, I believe. They had already had the new PVs up when You were... and BALLAD's PVs came out, but the YouTube channel was not open yet.

I suspect that one of the next times that they log in, they will be uploading the album PVs...

I hope it's soon that they decide to upload them! I've become so anxious!

I hope they use the channel as a way to get attention and not wait for the TV stations..i mean, THAT'S what a channel is about isnt it?. zzzz

I think Avex is following the recent trend and re-uploading all of her videos with just the introduction, first verse, and chorus of the song in order to just give people a sneak preview. I am very disappointed in that though...:(.

i am one of the minority who decides to buy her CD+DVD just for the PVs.although we can find higher quality of the PVs here,but the feel of watching it from the DVD and from the downloaded video is different XD

Honestly, considering that avex has begun putting Ayu's PVs on various itunes stores in different countries, I'm not surprised that they did this.

I have a question if avex wants people to stop downloading their videos, suppose there werent other means of obtaining Ayu music videos (like downloading them here) How would they expect anyone to see her old music videos that didnt come with a dvd of the music video?!

That's exactly what I was thinking, lol. It makes sense for the recent stuff that they want people to buy but what about her older more obscure stuff that you can only find the occasional DVD on ebay/YAJ once in a while? What would be the point in deleting those? Hell, until I found her YT channel I had never even seen the videos for Voyage, WHATEVER, RAINBOW, YOU, etc. and never knew they had existed. :laugh

well, in that case, you'll have to buy the complete clip box u_u

I do think it is kind of silly that they are suddenly taking her videos down. Personally, I won't buy one unless I've seen it the whole way through, and her Youtube site is the best way for new/potential fans to be introduced to her work. Especially fans living outside of Japan.

The full version of PVs aren't deleted, they only have added a short version of the PVs, although there are some PVs that aren't able to be watched in it full version :-(
