First I would like to say I am glad that Ayu has blogged about the fanbook, its really awesome... congrats to everyone who chose to participate in this project and thanks to everyone who played a major part in making this possible.

Secondly, this might actually cause a problem... what if by some way Ayu or one of her staff members discovers this forum? I mean all they would really have to do is type is "Ayumi Hamasaki forum" into a web browser and look for the forum with the theme: A World Is One... oh not to mention that if you type that into Yahoo, this forum is the first one that pops up and it mentions "DOWNLOADS" in the page description. I almost wonder if the forum has commited suicide?

So, so glad she loves the book and has blogged about it. She is truly surprised just how much her music has spread across the globe. Now she knows that she makes music for everyone, for so many people around the world and not just for Asia.

And even better, that my letter is in that book and that she will read it or has read it! And know she has fans in Australia as well. :)

just now a rather loony thought came to my mind...i think Ayu knows somewhere inside her mind that a forum like this exists because the numerous groups of fans from various countries that visited her in London must've met somewhere and organized that trip and organized the book producing process. However, she seems to be a super-great-nice person by nature, so unless she alarms her staff about that, i don't think she'll google AHS by herself...she knows we love her and she knows we support her so much even despite those Downloads we have here.

Ayu's not stupid, she knows that music piracy exists. She probably knows that each and every person who wrote a letter in that book probably discovered her through the internet. Through an illegal download.

But I doubt what she thought of when she recieved the book is that she has an international fanbase of music pirates. So I don't think she'll go looking up AHS anytime soon. Although, she has probably googled herself plenty of times. it's not like she just discovered the internet when the book was given to her. If she wanted to close down forums sharing illegal downloads, she could have done it anytime.

the other thing is...
this is not just entirely for tons of pirated stuff to share...many people on AHS own lots of her works so she gets quite a load of profit from this anyway. However, for some Ayu fans, obtaining original releases is very demanding and complicated...and $$
The FanBook compensates these piracy thoughts in her head for sure...big time ;-)

^some people were even "bold" enough to say "i don't buy your official CDs"... -_-

Ah I am quite sure her staff won't even be allowed to read the letters and Ayu herself has better things to do than run around the internet and stalk illegally uploaded stuff ^^ There are people at AVEX who are in charge of that and considering the number of youtube videos they deleted in the past couple of years I'm pretty sure they are aware of the situation, but they simply don't care as they aren't really loosing a lot of money considering that the albums only get released in Japan and a few Asian countries, I mean Ayu China would be gone for good if they actually thought they could sell loads in China ^^

in that case...we know whom to credit for the eventual AHS ban ;-)

very true indeed. From her TA blog entry, i got the impression that the book is very personal to her and she doesn't want other people (like the Avex staff) get involved in it's background too much.

You have a strong point. There's no market for them outside of Asia so why would they bother?

I'm not worried about that stuff honestly I think it's dumb to get worried over that thing because if Avex was serious, They should have found this forum a long time ago and all those illegal downloading sites.

This is unreal, I cant imagine if I was one of those lucky persevering individuals who were there at that moment, now immortalized forever in this entry. Ayu is such a genuine person. The book and the gesture truly touched her beyond my imagination and in return she has touched us with this heartwarming entry and the fact that she even said

I can't help it with this entry, I keep reading it and every single time I tear up. I can't get over how sweet and wonderful she is. It made me cry! lol Even though I knew Ayu took the time to read each and every message, but to know she was crying while reading all of them... Well, when Ayu cries, I cry. Haha.

I'm eternally grateful that Ayu will love and cherish the book forever. And for her to realize how much her international fans really love her, and to realize how much we mean to her, really makes me happy :)

2ch is the giant anonymous forum in Japan that we usually get our information on setlists / new releases from first. Usually we have people that discover the new releases before them, but when it comes to setlists, they usually update as the show is going on. Unfortunately, they're famous for hating on things and being quite vulgar. They're also known for some pretty big "scandals" so if you're curious you can look it up on Wikipedia.

I don't think it's a good thing that AHS is becoming "famous / popular" with 2ch and AHS' name was nowhere on any of the "A WORLD IS ONE" materials. I wonder if any 2ch-ers will come to troll here, haha.
