Considering her singles, it could very well turn out to be the case. Sunrise is reminiscent of her summer singles, Sunset of LOVE~Destiny~ (her first #1 single right?), You were... of her power ballads and BALLAD of her oriental themed ballads. With Microphone taking it's cues from Kiss o' Kill she could make 10 more album tracks (I know, I'm dreaming right? xD; ) to fit with her 10 other albums.

That's actually a really good idea!

It'd be better if she left some of them off of the new album, they weren't too great IMO. And they don't really remind me of any of her old songs. I'm not sure if she can do any songs similar to A Song for XX or LOVEppears not even Duty, I can still hope.

What is Microphone about anyway? Someone that motivates her to sing into the microphone? lol Or the microphone itself? But of course, it could all be symbolic for something...

how can you even judge the vocals? it was so muffled and you heard a 15 second snippet. i think some people are just trying to hate it (because of her recent lives).

did you read this on her blog ? i haven't read them all yet . i think its a better bet for avex for ayu to return to her old more successfull songs intead of coming with lot of new sounds people would be "shock" to hear .

Most likely a different track. There's a 2% chance or so that Microphone will hog tie-ins, but usually album tracks for Ayu only get one each.
