That's an old topic but it's back to page 1 and I happen to know the answer so:

Namie Amuro doesn't have AVEX as agency and A-Nation is only for them. Some artists who aren't with AVEX did some special appearences but the headliners are always artists who have AVEX as agency and Namie is from Vision Factory, I think.

If A-Nation was from 96-97 she would probably perform because AVEX was her agency back them.

How do you know that? Can you tell me the management agency for every artist who was at the last a-nation?
