It's kinda sad really. The fans make GaGa look bad, when in reality GaGa really respects the Japanese popstars and their style and has said on numerous occasions that she is the one to incorporate their ideas into her own performances and overall look. She's never said a bad thing about Ayumi, Kuu or any other Japanese singers, it's just the fans. Shame that in retaliation, GaGa gets bashed too.

alright, I commented. (:

yeah Sparkle came out first
and I agree with Polyrhythm just let them be stupid. I have friend who is really GAGA fan so I know her a little bit. okay okay, for me is the queen Ayu. But if gaga fans don't know that Ayu's poker face is there for 12 years, we can't help them. just smile. |
I HATE haters!!!
I don't like Lady Gaga. Never did and never will, but I'm not bashing her! People, who think that Gaga is soooo original are just ignorant in my eyes. Ayu debut in 1998 and has been around for 12 years now!! Gaga has just started and the only reason why she gets so much attention (in my eyes) is because of her strange looking costumes! But haters gonna hate no matter what! They LOVE to do that...! Don't take it too seriously, because we know that Ayu is the original and nobody will ever change that!! :heart |
I think I won't visit the forum ^w^ people like this will infuriate me, and I hate stupidity and .... stupidity. No matter what you will say they will argue we lie or no matter what, even if Gaga herself would say : Yes Ayumi released Poker face title before me, she did the bleeding dress before me, she did the USB before me ... well everything, Gaga's fans would be the same : retarded and still claim that NO Ayu is copying Gaga .... you know, there is no meds for stupidity sadly and they don't even sell new brain in shop so we should let them in their deep and thick ignorance and make fun of their low intelligence. With more and more proof of that in fact Gaga is kinda the one who copy someone else.
Because when you see that they are not able to admit they are wrong, I doubt about the few intelligence they may have. Ah god if all of those stupid fans could fly into the universe it would be congested -_- |
I totally agree with you you're right ^^
|
Okay, now - what's going on all of a sudden? Kind of some trash-talking at a time Lady Gaga is in Japan while Ayumi Hamasaki is releasing her new album and busy with her related tour?

I hate idiot fans...of all artists. I'm just gonna say this, I think, that even though originality is probably dead these days, what I consider "original" is these artists' work that is true to themselves, and no one else. Something I would consider "unoriginal" is when someone sees something, and says "ooo that's gonna be my image next." Now...there are exceptions of course, but someone who is wholly unoriginal, is someone that isn't true to who they are, and just uses the image as a way to get more popular by trying to exploit tastes. Now, people may not agree with me...but I'm really tired of people bashing all of these artists saying they aren't original, and so and so did this back then, and whatever...just putting emphasis on the whole, who copied who, or who is better than who discussion. I guess it's not really anyone's fault...I mean, there are world corporations fighting over stuff like this...but honestly, when it comes down to actual people, and especially two eccentric, free, and honest people like Ayu and Gaga, this discussion just makes everyone look retarded. |
First of all, I didn't think Ayu was making fun of Lady Gaga, Gwen Stefani or Rihanna in Sexy Little Thing.
To me it seemed like she was mocking the way women are portrayed/thought of in Japanese society. The lyrics gave me the same impression. Anyway, I do agree with you that Startin' is openly mocking celebrities. Also, please take in consideration that many of the people on that forum are as die-hard fans of gaga in the same way many of the people on AHS are of Ayu. The person who started the tread on ladygaga.com didn't sound like he/she had posted it just to be rude to Ayu. Many times fans (doesn't matter who's fans) tend to be overprotective and defensive when it comes to their Idol. To them everyone could possibly classify as someone trying to copy their Idol (who is a person they really care for.) Sometimes people like that have a hard time understanding who someone might not think as highly of their Idol. A lot of the people on ladygaga.com probably don't know a lot about Ayu and her career and might therefore think that she is a person trying to mimic Gaga's style. Everyone should be entitled to have an opinion and I do like that you tried to inform the GaGa fans of who Ayu is since not being informed of such may cause people to draw conclusions about what has happened and about who's done something wrong (usually this is the person they aren't fans of -_- ). Still, I do think your message made you seem sort of "rude" and worked up. Again, most of these people don't know about Ayu and might that because you are a fan of this "Ayu"-person and you seem "rude", that this "Ayu"-person must be rude too. I'm not trying to be mean to you, you obviously care for Ayu and maybe that is why you might come of as "rude" when you see someone that might be "insulting" Ayu.:) Just try to see it from the GaGa fans perspective too. Edit: I also found the bashing of ayu's outfit a bit ridiculous, but those people probably didn't know that the British theme was the reason for Ayu only wearing clothes by British designers . |

but yeah, it angers me to think people actually believe ayu is the unoriginal one when the evidence is not too hard to find. >_< |
Obviously these people are ignorant of Ayu and getting angry over ignorance is pointless. Now stupidity is something to be upset about. Ignorance is when the person doesn't know any better and runs their mouth about ********. But when you know it isn't true and you spread lies and hatred anyway, that's just ****ing stupid.

what a useless thread and discussion.
|
^ you don't have to reply :P
|
gaaaaaaaah this makes me so mad that I will just ignore it. if I go on the site it will just work me up into an angry state XD
ignore haters, they suck ass |
GaGa has the worst dellusional fanbase ever. I know this from being a massive Britney fan and seeing their delusions about GaGa being Queen Of Pop, etc. GaGatards are simply the worst.
|
^ Hey now, I'm a little monster (Gaga fan) but I'm certainly not delusional :irked!!!
In my opinion, I just think that Ayu and Lady Gaga are two independent artists that have nothing to do with one another. They both have two songs entitled 'Poker Face'...so what? They're both using the term in quite different contexts so I don't see the correlation. And personally, I don't even really agree that Sexy Little Things is necessarily a parody of anyone :shrug...Did Ayu say it was??? |
Die-hard fans of ANYONE are horrible. It's the rabid fanbase of anything (singers, movies, tv shows, religions...) that ruin the fun for the rest of us who don't take it so seriously and are more laidback.
|
There was already a massive Ayu attack on GGD when I posted that article from a while back. You can't even have good intentions for an interesting discussion with Gaga fans without them trying to destroy everything you love, I learned my lesson :(...
Gaga fans are so ****ing nuts, I can't stand the Gaga fanbase more then I don't like the Ayu fanbase x_x |
Lady Gaga was 12 years old when Ayu's poker face was released/////
