I'm joining in on the Arashi thread. :laugh

So the next album they make, what singles would they have on there? Troublemaker, My Girl, Monster, Crazy Moon...? Am I missing some? What was their most recent album other than the best compilation?

Also, whoever said they don't like Troublemaker and Monster makes me very sad. :( I love them!! Troublemaker is the reason I got back into Arashi after a very looooong hiatus (that and watching HYD through again with a friend). C'mon guys! XD

The singles should be My Girl, Troublemaker and Monster...
though I guess they could include Everything too...

And their last album was Dream'A'live back in the first half of 2008.

One Love, Truth/Kaze no Mukou e, Beautiful Days, Believe, Ashita/Crazy Moon were all on All the Best so they probably won't be included.

@sugarbasil: Their latest album was "All the BEST! 1999-2009", which was released in 2009! But, well, it was more like a "Best of", so I'm not sure, if you can really call it "new album".
I guess, Arashi latest albums with new songs were the "TIME"-album, which was released in 2007 and the "Dream 'A' Live"-album (2008)...soooooo, in my eyes, it's really time for a new album! :heart

And about the new songs...not everbody likes the same songs. I love both, "Troublemaker" and "Monster" (I haven't heard "Spiral" yet!), but "Monster" a bit more.

It's really different for everbody!

All of this hatin' on Troublemaker for being a bland pop song is making me sad XD.

I love it, it's so very uplifting. There's nothing wrong with some standard pop from time to time. Besides, I don't really think MONSTER is all that edgy, but I like it as well. ˆ

i have no problem with troublemaker either, but comparing it to Monster, obviously Monster is better. but it's sorta unfair to compare since one song is pop and one song has a different style. so i love them both in their own way :yes

I love troublemaker too :D and monster sounds great. AMAZING first day sales for arashi yay a little less than troublemaker. though it does makes kana nishino sales look poor :( NEW ALBUM next. cant wait. :luv2

I don't think it's obvious. :no I like Troublemaker much more, for me it IS the better song, Monster is lacking. Everybody who says it's like truth I don't think you can compare it to truth, truth is better by miles and my favourite of Arashi. So I like Troublemaker much more and still enjoy listening to it.

@Mai82Go: I also don't think that "Monster" is like "truth" ("truth" is my favourite Arashi song too, by the way! :heart).

Well, yes, both are dark songs and show us a more "mature side" of Arashi, but "truth" is a sad, dark and depressive song, while "Monster" - in my eyes - gives you more of a spooky and mysterious feeling (it always makes me think of Halloween).

And "Troublemaker" is a great song too! I like it very much!

^Yep, Monster is more spooky/haunted house and it fits the drama Kaibutsu-kun, while truth was perfect for Maou, it had a darker feeling.

Really Tokei Jikake no Umbrella fits the mood of Truth a bit more. It's kind of in the middle between Truth and Monster, to me anyways.
It's my favourite Arashi song :)

i've probably listened to Troublemaker........once or twice. maybe i liked it better when i saw the PV. Monster is the better song for me. but that's just my opinion. :)

nothing beats A Day in our Life for me though. i wish they had more songs like it!!

I actually put the whole Troublemaker single in my mp3player & I'm very tempted to delete everything except Mou , Ippou

It's a no brainer I listen to Monster a LOT more than Troublemaker . Troublemaker was just so BORING for me to handle >_>

aaaw I really love troublemaker and this whole topic just made me listen and watch the pv more :P hence making my love for this single grow :luv2. I can pardon My Girl in a way or 2 cos I seen the drama & I feel Aiba did a good job in his 1st drama

Troublemaker , forget it :no . I think I know the reason on why I had an unusual hatred towards the song , cos SID's sleep was horribly whacked by them during the week when both singles were released at the same time >_>

@ karenpang. Im guilty I bought both singles BUT yeah arashi made SID look bad, I feel bad for my babys cus they totally have #1 potential but they keep putting them against artist that are like the gods of the oricon or something. I wonder if an artist has an option as to when they release material, I wonder if they ever think "no wait but ayu or arashi is releasing that week lets push it to another week." Yeah I feel aiba did such a great job in my girl but idk why That single bores me I mainly listen to the b side. :D

aha yeah I was SO pissed when SID got horribly ripped to shreds when Troublemaker was released as I personally feel SID's sleep should be the one that get the #1 spot , not some mindless boring pop song like Troublemaker

I always root for the underdogs x) I suppose if SID released sleep 1 week after Troublemaker , then the chances of them getting #1 will be higher .__.

lol I wanted to sell away my copy of My Girl since I'm not into them & let alone Johnny's as much as before but I keep it cos the B-sides are really solid , not going to lie about that
