I would love to see her perform duets with alan, Namie, Gackt, BoA. Doesn't mean they'll sound good though. Her two duets Itsuka no Merry Christmas with Gackt was so-so, and LOVE ~since1999~ with whoever the guy was singing the vocals alongside her was horrid. The only duet of hers I like is a song is born with Keiko. It all depends on the type of songs she picks, and the other persons vocals matched with hers.

Utada would be nice, and I was also disappointed she was left out of the m-flo loves series. All the hot artists were there, where was she?

^Ayu is not a R&B/Hip-hop artist...

Neither are Bonnie Pink or MONKEY MAJIK, right?

Kiyoshi Hikawa, Masaharu Fukuyama, Keisuke Kuwata, B'z, Greeeen, Kobukuro, or AKB48. I wouldn't want her to perform a duet with another solo female artist. Those rarely work out, in my opinion.

Even though I don't actively listen to them all, a group of solo female Avex artists would be so awesome. I bet it'd sell really well.

They could do a pop song together, a rock song and a ballad.

I would love a duet with Utada. It'd be so weird, but I'd love to hear how it'd turn out!

My dream is that Britney will return to Japan on one of her next tours, meets Ayu, they hit it off and the two decide to record this epic rock/pop~ballad~electropop single together. *sigh*

I would also love for Ayu to do something with a VK band like the GAZETTE. I'm not really into VK bands but I think Ayu would fit right in perfectly with one. And I hope Utada's musings come true and she and Ayu do an American tour together. <333

Since I LOVE m-flo I'd love for Ayu to collab with them... There are quite a few non-R&B/hip-hop artists that they've collaborated with, I think m-flo can really adjust to Ayu's sound and make a great sound. I'm only waiting until that Day...

On another note, I really, really liked Ayu's duet with Sonim, singing "Curry Rice no Onna" on one of her Ayuready episodes.

Maybe I'm just being close-minded but I really can't see Ayu doing duets. I mean, she's done it before....but her voice just tends to clash with other voices in my personal opinion.

So yeah, I don't have an answer for this.
