Blossom reminds me of Depend on You and the whole ASFXX era...I like it a lot more than Moon just because I prefer more upbeat songs. ;) But, Moon is good too.

Right now MOON>blossom because of the opening although blossom is awesome too! But maybe it will be equal when I'll get my copy. This single is a fine work since HEAVEN IMO. Although I love Days/GREEN single.

Yeah, blossom reminds me a little of "Depend on you" as well, but it's one of the reasons why I love it. I think she should continue working with this composer. Genius man IMO.

blossom catches my attention more than MOON.
The guitars, the nostalgic feeling make me love blossom so much :heart and would be one of her best summer songs imo.

To be honest MOON is not that bad, it growns on me but that's just an average Ayu rockish ballad.

all i can say is that i'm really surprise how ROCK blossom turned out!

i like it, i don't love it, but i'll probably love it within a week. it seems like lately it always takes a few listens for ayumi's songs to grow on me.

as for the chorus, i don't really see why people are complaining about it. i think the choruses sound just fine.

I had the opportunity to listen to blossom 4 times consecutively and I have to say I love it really, it's not excellent (i expected an epic single but it seems it sin't).
The chorus involves me so much, instead MOON bored me from the very first listening.

Yup, I was pleasantly surprised from the start but once the bridge started it really caught my interest. ♥ I love the fairyland vibe, and how the verses kinda remind some melancholic oldies. (or is it just me :P) And the chorus is incredibly catchy. Been whistling it all day long :innocent

Do you also hear the AUDIENCE influence with the guitars (particularly in 2:42-2:45)? At least that's what I think of whenever I hear it.

I don't really think the bridge is so fairyland-ish. It's got a more "rock-out" feel in blossom and thank God it isn't as dragged out as the bridge in fairyland. That bridge could be a damn interlude on its own. Lol.

But one thing I really like about blossom is that, to me, sounds like something that could have been released during the MY STORY/m(u) era.

and yes blossom is way better. MOON to me is boring and very forced. Just like You were... seemed very "forced" to me.
