Oh my.. I hope she'll recover soon! poor thing!! Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni is my fav anime of all time!!! The songs she sang for the anime is quite creepy but I like it though.. I'm missing it now!! Arrrrr.......!!!!

Depending on type of the thyroid cancer, it could be easily cured by surgery + radiotive iodide. Hoever, the surgery has a risk of injuring the laryngeal nerves which can result in vocla chord parlaysis and hoarseness destroying a singer's career...hopefully let's hope for the best, I guess.

She is lucky because thyroid cancer is the only cancer that can be cured without problem. She'll just lose her thyroid but it's nothing. After two years she'll be ok! & normally her voice'll be ok if the surgeon is good! I'm experience in that matter as I have thryoid problem. I just have the left lobe now & I live perfectly.

Thyroid problems is the plague of this century but I think all problems have a solution.

There was a video on either her website or the I've Sound site where she was just talking for a while about it. It was a while ago. But I never heard a translation for it. But it was about situation I think

Anyway she tweets quite a bit (not like ayu tweet or anything) but she does use her twitter. I just wish I could understand what she was saying lol. I've only seen her tweet her in english twice. To me. And to this person trying to teach her how to grow some vegetables or something <3

I won't mind if she's on hiatus for a year or two (or more) just that I was afraid that the surgery would affect her throat/voice and would cause her giving up her career which would be a big shame, her music is wonderful and she does put alot of emotion in it :(
