I'm surprised about the covers...MOON?

I look at the best 10 list. Only three songs after (m)u era. Days and MOON (I really think MOON shouldn't be there). It seems like her fans prefer her old songs more, especially the time between Duty and I am. (SEASONS, SURREAL, M, evolution, Dearest).

I'd say my taste mostly differs from the one of the majority of TA fans xD

I am not surprised to see Days up so high, it's really popular with her Japanese fans (plus I love it too lol). A little surprised to see SEASONS at no 2, I would have thought M, evolution and Dearest higher up and that A Song for xx didn't make it :P

I love Days....but it definitely is not her best-est most amazing song.....they must be blind if they think MOON/blossom is the best cover (at least they were smart enough to not pick Sunrise/Sunset.....).....PV.....ok fine....I love BLUE BIRD PV a lot....not my personal favorite but I guess it deserves to be their pick for best.

In many ways the results make sense because people always tend to pick things that are newer in these kinds of polls. The music video results though are a bit wtf. :)

^ Many of the things on the list are post Miss Understood. Especially having almost all recent covers and PVs on the list kind of demonstrates that it seems most fans are probably newer. The songs list of course still has old ones on it, but they were mostly placed after newer songs. Songs like Evolution and Dearest are considered classics, so its no surprise that they are there; people will always choose them regardless of whether they are a new or old fan. I'm mostly referring to the PVs and covers. I think it makes sense, obviously her sales before 2005 where higher than after, so probably TA membership was higher then too but yet many of her great past works have been left out of the poll in favor of the most new things like Moon. I do think that in the last several years she lost quite a few of the older TA members, so it makes sense that this list would have so much newer material on it.

^^me neither. I mean these results are really surprising. But it seems Days is on its way to be one of newer Ayu-classics. I like Days. And I think the love for MOON/blossom is just because it is so recent and fresh in peoples mind. I doubt it would get this high in a few years. Especially the Cover. :no But if they really love it so much, I'm the complete opposite of the japanese, because I think MOON/blossom is the most boring single she ever released.

^ I was under the impression that this was a TA thing for some reason. But even if its not, the majority of voters I think would still be TA members; most other people wouldn't care enough to vote I don't think. Even though I'm actually in TA and Japan, I didn't care enough to vote. :) Just trying to find some explanation for the somewhat weird results.
