I think Shuya stands out from most of the dancers because he got the looks and the height. Gomi is not bad, but the issue i have with him is that, whatever moves he makes will definitely make me laugh, so imagine if it was a sad song and Gomi appeared, I will definitely laugh non-stop. Nao is not bad too if he ever gets to do the solo during ballads, he just got that emotional expression, but too bad he's not around either.. =\ |

Honestly i'm not able to judge how good shuya is in dancing..i just would like to say that i don't find him awesome and i hate his hair!

somebody remember the guy before Shu-ya that used to dance the emotional solo dance for a couple of years? (ex: Stadium Tour)

Since At09 she is using him less and less... and she used him less before at07 too... So, she only over-used him for 2 years... not that much

I think Shu is the best looking one. This might be the explanation why Ayu does a lot of solo type things with her during the concert... she may be attracted to him.

Well I think he's pretty ugly :/ Especially when comparing him to the god who is Maro... :innocent
The only time I really liked him was in the BALLAD PV. I thought he did a pretty good job and his hair colour was much much better. |

Gotta admit, he's good-looking, but I don't like him as a dancer so much. ZIN, Gomi and Maro are so much better dancers. And hey, why they always make Gomi look like a fool? :shakehead Well, anyways, when I watch to Ayu's tour DVDs and TV versions, I always just gotta skip those Shuya's solo dances. And often Maro's too, because I just think that they're pretty boring. :sleeping God Thank you Shuya isn't one of the MC hosts, and I hope he never will be. :P But Ayu, plz choose someone else to be your partner, just for once, okay....? :idea Like Zin. I was away for a few days. *smokes pipe* Yeah. I wish my life were that interesting. I was watching the making of one of her concerts the other day (Don't bother asking me what one, I have the memory of a goldfish) and it showed him 'rehearsing'. I was like. Dude. YOU SO don't do the same dance more than twice... It's really obvious that you make it up on the spot. It's like me with my english speeches. I can write it down all I want but the whole class knows I'm still going to make it up on the spot again. Shuya is just ridiculous to look at. His hair is like... Doesn't Ayumi ever say to him "Dude... what's with your hair... You look like a dooped up YuGiOh character... It's very stereotypically asian of you." Or something? AGH! I've vented... LIKE AN AIR CONDITIONER! and now I'm off =D |
I'm no expert, but I dance fairly often, and I believe I could do better.
I'm not criticizing him; he has his own way of interpreting Ayu's songs, but you'd expect him to bring something new to the floor each year, and sadly he doesn't. I like to be emotionally moved when it comes to this type of dancing... Anyone seen Step Up 2? There's a moment where Chase does this short dance to a rock song. Now that's something I'd love to see a dancer do during Ayu's concert. I actually felt something. |

i don't know why shuya is he one to be blamed when the choreography sucks.don't forget that most of his solo dance choreographed by mr.maro.
