I actually love the song. I think people are being so critical because they are treating these as an ayu song when in fact it is not; it is Naoya's song. ayu made the song for him in his style. Despite that it does have some very ayu elements to it like the orchestral intro and the piano pieces throughout. And about all the Heartplace "rip off" comments, ayu has referred to similar elements in her previous lyrics all the time (for example Sparkle's chorus is literally just an extension of Catcher In The Light)

People need to stop being so negative about ayu's recent work all the time. It seems they are never happy with anything she does anymore :(

Wow, I really like "Dream ON!" I wasn't planning on getting the single but now I'm second guessing that decision. I don't think I'd want Ayu to produce solo music like this, but it's nice hearing her branch out on side projects like this. I hope she's open to doing more diverse collaborations in the (distant) future.

yeah, I know this song will be hated by a lot of ayu fans because a lot of her fans don't like this type of music, or they do like this type of music but don't approve of ayu doing it :laugh. but I absolutely love it. I actually didn't think ayu could really pull off this style that well, but it seems like she can. talk about versatility. is there anything she can't do? geez. :o

The verses are the best part of the song. The chorus sounds so damn terrible.

Everyone got their opinion. If it's not offensive for Ayu (like "OMG THIS IS SHI*) anyone can say if they just don't like it. We're not a band of puppets and obsessed fans who yells "OMGTHISISSOAWESOMEIWANTTOHAVEBABIESWITHAYU".
Matter of taste, and sometimes matter of how long you are listening to Ayu. Because i can understand that a fresh fan likes everything. It happends to me.

I think there is a possibility she will have her own version of Dream ON without URATA.. maybe not on Love Songs but the next album?

His name is Naoya. and what do you mean he sounds like a KAT-TUN member? That's just him, and he is singing like he always does. Check his album or AAA.

Anyway, I already preordered the single and I like it. But it's of course different for Ayu or Ayu-music in general. I love Naoyas voice so this single is a dream come true for me, this whole collab is great. :yes Only thing I think is not THAT great (but certainly not terrible) is too much english.

Next album will be either in 2011/2012, with the speed Ayu releases stuff, I don't think she'd put an older song on a new album. ever free and Life are good examples.
But maybe on a best album.

maybe that's me or the video's quality but Ayu sounds really, REALLY weird though ENTIRE song x.x Naoyas voice is really good in some parts of the song.
overall kind of nice song, but i rather will not listen to it many times.
