And Shu-ya said himself he isn't gay...though he may just be afraid to admit it. But I seriously doubt that they would ever become a couple.
I am happy for Ayu, and I wish others would be as well.

^I like Shu-ya, too...but he is part of her staff so I don't think they would ever become more than colleagues/friends.
I'm just happy Ayu has found love in her life and on her terms. She really deserves it.

not to be racist but japanese gilrs tend to marry either really young or quickly. it's like they dont need time to build the love between them and their partners. and japanese are so western influenced and you know how they fancy having american or caucasian partners. I live in Australia, and man japanese girls loveeeee western bfs. i am sorry but i cant feel true love between them. to me, it seems that they are just using each other. they just like to marry in the heat of the moment and divorce when they finally realise it is not working.

honestly, i dont believe this marriage would work. but i hope it does. i hope ayu is making the right decision for herself and i hope she will be truly happy. and that mannie guy better dont do anythign to hurt her!

Well, there's goes my chance of hoping manuel is gay out the window. I really don't think the fact that they both met each other in "virgin road" was a coincidence either. I bet their wedding was just like that, but without the guns.

Thank you. THIS. Leave the poor woman alone and stop passing judgment. She knows herself well and she knows human emotion well. And by the time you get to your thirties, you know the ropes. You have more experience and maturity to use than a younger person in judging whether you can be with someone for life.

so weird. in the virgin road pv ayu and manuel are getting married and are bad people cause they rob a bank and carry guns with them. Then, a few months later, they get married in real life and people are calling it a "shotgun" wedding. coincidence? I think not!

This is how I feel. Plus the fact that they are living apart too...but hopefully eveything will be alright and Ayu will be happy.
