I haven't been to Namie thread in forever! So excited to see that she has a new single coming out, I love how Fight Together sounds, and I'm so excited to hear Tempest!

Me too! I think we all kinda get the idea that Namie's music sells itself, but I wish she'd just throw us a bone and promote the upcoming single by doing performances.

Mine was Alarm I think.......but yeah she's long overdue for a performance. I was really hoping for some with all the duets that just came out, but I guess I understand why she really couldn't.

I remember once she did a live of Alarm in China, and part of it was in Chinese. I've been looking for that video since.

Ooooo, I'd like to see that. I think the only other song I've seen her perform partly in Chinese was Never End.

Earlier in her career she performed like crazy. I think back then it wasn't a question as to whether or not she would promote new material by making a television appearance. I think it's recently that her tv performances have slowed down. I remember she used to appear on several shows sometimes repeatedly to promote a single and now it seems like she only does maybe 2 or 3 performances.

Just checked the daily rankings and Checkmate! is #7. I think it's awesome that over a month after it's release it is still managing to sell well. I'm not so sure if it'll rank in the top 10 for the week, but it's still nice to see it on the daily ranking.
