Hey so strange that lots of people dont like the way Ayu use dancers, especially Shuya. But it is actually one of the things that make me love Ayu =)). I love her performance with Shuya, really love it. I love the way she cooperates with her dancers all the time from tour to PV. It makes me feel warm and happy when seeing them together. It makes me feel Ayu closer. Especially in tours, at the end, I always feel touching when seeing all dancers full of sweat and look tired but still try their best to dedicate to the best peformance. I love the way they and Ayu are together on the stage, which makes me carried away.
A... another thing is I love creepy Ayu =)) like in Marionette and Ourselves, I even crop the video and use as wallpaper =)). Sorry for off topic, just read and wanna say sth :D. Have fun |
I totally forgot her over dramatic ballad performances and Shuayu drama completely. Man, those always ruin her concerts for me. :( Of course with some songs all the drama is okay, but I love her older performances a lot because there's no drama involved. Simple, Ayu and the microphone. That's all. I haven't watched Rock'n'Roll Circus Tour yet though I don't know if there's much drama but I really hope there is not... too much. :D Don't tell me anything though because I seriously don't want to know any details beforehand. :)

hmmm.. if it's like 2-4 times of ayu using her dancers in PVs is okay...
but she's been involving them a lot and it has become quite boring haha.. of course i always adore the involvement of the dancers in any of ayu's works.. it shows how great the A-FAMILY is.. how close their bond is..how well their relationship is.. but still.. I don't know, i just wish that she won't use them as often as she has been doing right now. as for in concerts, i don't mind at all..because personally i think dancers are also the most important aspect in concerts..they are not just dancers but they actors/actresses as well.. that i like about the dancers in concerts. well, after all.. it's not really a huge problem for me. haha~ no matter what, i'll still enjoy her stuff. |
Although I really love Ayu I dislike the following:
-She's being too prolific and commercial. -Her overacting cutesy performances. -Her over-use of make-up. But as they say, love the weaknesses and imperfections of whom you love. XD whahaha |
just come up with new thing. Ayu's hidden tracks abit annoy me, lol. I have to run around searching for separate versions of those hidden tracks, lol. Some songs like Part of me, Endless sorrow, I always enjoy watching videos coz they have english translation. I have just listened to audio these days and realized that they come with hidden tracks. It's a bit annoying coz you dont always wanna listen to them together

There's a lot of things i dislike about her... But I think there's more things I LOVE about her ;)
What I dislike... - Lack of magazines shoots! I loved when she just realesed a single and she was at 10 magazines lol. I am graphic, i NEED MORE AYU. (;D) - Cutesy face, overcute songs. She is not a teen anymore even she is still a doll. I like her a little sexy, a little funny, a little crazy. - I dislike her vibratto and GUILTY era voice. - Too much make-up and too MUCH LIPGLOSS!1 Don't get the duckface trend in JPN -_- - Sometimes I dislike her "DIVA" photos. I like her better on casual and crazy clothes. Some people dislikes when she is doing these BIG EYES but I LOVE them. The bigger the better ;D I love her short hair also. |
@pepper: I definitely agree with you on the "DIVA" photos. They can be a bit much and just don't seem to be as authentic.
I dislike Ayu's... - Overuse of vibrato. - Backup dancers. Especially when they turn up in her music videos as love interests. - When her acoustic performances don't sound very acoustic -_- - Cover for Sunrise/Sunset ~LOVE is ALL~... Ok, that doesn't count. I honestly thought that I would have had a lot more to dislike about Ayu but now I'm happy that I didn't think of much. And it's nothing too serious anyways. For every dislike there's a million likes! |
I love her but I don't like her performances where she reaches for Shuya/some other dancer and fake cries. I think it's such a waste because her sincere ballad performances are some of the best I've ever seen. Also I dislike her weird expressions and her weird concert outfits sometimes. Her vibrato from 2006-2009 I disliked too. It just went on and on forever and was so exaggerated and unnatural. So the times when I'm not feeling ayu are usually when she's acting and trying to be something she's not. I love her for who she is naturally.

You don't have to confirm to us that you love her. If someone cared that much whether you loved her or not, then just ignore that person. I don't think we all have to think that she's perfect because she isn't. She has faults like everyone else, and not all of her works are perfect - she probably recognizes this. You can still be someone's fan and not worship the ground they walk on. Everyone is subject to constructive criticism.
Anyway, I haven't been a fan of her recent works. They bore me and aren't as appealing as her earlier works, but oh well. Maybe she's stuck in a creative rut? Happens to everyone. I think she should take some time off and go on a vacation with her husband if she hasn't done so already. |

^ blossom at RnRC ruins it. wtf she needs the dancers for just a 2mins song???? It's just a special performance. she can do it like glitter in AT07
|
Love her, but I dislike her exaggerated and sometimes false vibrato. I can't even listen to Voyage. Other than that, I'm good.

The only thing I don't like is probably the concerts. ^^;; Same stuff, but in different concepts. I would like to see something new and epic.

Oh My God, am I the only one who absolutely loves her vibrato? :'D I don't care even if she overuses it, I still love it so madly because for some reason it doesn't really bother me. :D
