^thanks, she looks stunning, but she sounds bad

bondingo 9th July 2011 05:40 AM

^Maybe it's just because I'm a little intoxicated, but I think she sounds pretty good lol. Then again, I love those nasally, young Japanese girl voices.

Polyrhythm 9th July 2011 06:20 AM

Wow. That was brutal. The pitch is so off I thought it was a different song. She should have released Wanna be now as the physical instead.

NINKI ratings for next week:

Quote:

01 173.50 Itano Tomomi - Fui ni
02 55.90 GACKT - Episode.0
03 53.40 Kato Miliyah x Shimizu Shota - BELIEVE
04 40.80 Kubota Toshinobu - Nagareboshi to Koi no Ame
05 37.20 BREAKERZ - LAST†PRAY / Zettai! I LOVE YOU
06 34.10 Takamizawa Toshihiko - Dragon King
07 31.70 Every Little Thing - Sora / Koe
08 26.40 ViViD - BLUE
09 20.10 Tomatsu Haruka - Oh My God■
10 17.80 STRAIGHTENER - YOU and I / Hitsuji no Mure wa Oka wo Noboru
So far, so good. :D Dear J's NINKI was 162.20.

Yeah, that performance wasn't... yeah. :-/ I'm hoping hers will be the case like with a lot of H!P graduates, after they graduate and/or go solo, their singing tends to get a lot better for some reason. I dunno if it's because they suddenly have a lot more free time to improve their vocal abilities or what. She already looks more comfortable on stage than the Dear J performances so that's a start.

Same here. :heart Part of why I love J-idols.

bondingo 9th July 2011 10:23 PM

^Holy crap! That's incredible :luv2

I know it's only NINKI, but it's still exciting to see. Can't wait to see how it actually ends up selling.

And yeah, after further review, that performance was a bit rough. She should've went into her head voice for those high notes, but I've heard worse. I think she'll definitely improve with time too. She has a nice tone imo so if she can just work on other stuff I think she has the potential to sound very good.

dreamland2.0 9th July 2011 11:40 PM

I don't mind her voice because her songs are so catchy :luv2

adantatu2 10th July 2011 05:41 AM

^+1, i like her because her songs are so catchy and because she is really pretty =)

Ranma Matsuri 11th July 2011 04:44 AM

For those who don't know the Type A leaked yesterday: http://www.nyaa.eu/?page=torrentinfo&tid=226819

Come on! is absolutely :luv2 . Tomochin sounds great and the breakdown in the middle is HOT. These are the kind of tracks that get me so hyped up for the eventual album.

Boku no Sei isn't really my type of track. So ehh, don't really have an opinion on it yet. Will have to listen a few more times.

bondingo 11th July 2011 04:50 AM

^ We're totally on the same page. I felt the same way about Come On! and Boku no Sei. I also love Fui Ni, but it doesn't quite top Dear J imo. I'm still waiting for her to do something that incredibly amazing again, and I know she will.

Kana×Shin 11th July 2011 04:53 PM

I need the lyrics translation for every song in this single ふいに still available somewhere...?

Ranma Matsuri 12th July 2011 03:07 AM

Coming Soon "Fui Ni" performance:

Much better than the previous. Kudos to the close-ups on the lips and eyes-- especially at the end. Damn, Tomochin why you so gosh darn pretty? ;_;

Kana×Shin 12th July 2011 03:09 AM

thank you for posting it here @Ranma Matsuri can't wait to see music station performance for appearing first time as a solo in that show...:heart

with that style, Tomochin looks like あゆ in the old days...?

bondingo 12th July 2011 04:28 AM

I cannot stop watching that performance. It's nasally and not what anyone would call GREAT singing, but I'm in love with it. I have no idea why I love her voice so much, but I do. She sounded great to me, whereas that other performance wasn't so hot lol.

Fui ni's 1st day: 50,874

Well, sales are only going to drop and stabilize at this point so the #1 weekly is pretty much in the bag still... that's almost a 40% drop from 'Dear J''s 1st day. ._. Granted, the previous single had the advantage of being the debut from the first AKB48 soloist and was more hyped. The sales are still good and she'll probably finish at 80K~100K this week but it still is worrying if this downward trend continues.

Couldn't agree more! Seriously there was a picture of Tomomi in a magazine recently wearing a denim outfit (denim top and long denim skirt) and all I could see was Ayu! Very similar makeup and face shape, imo.

Maybe that's why I like Tomomi the best? haha xD

Ranma Matsuri 14th July 2011 04:26 PM

Hehe, glad I'm not the only one that sees a little Ayu her. xD Not really in looks but her style, the peculiar eyes and the nasally kinda squeaky voice... differences being that Tomochin can dance and doesn't write her own lyrics (yet, I think she eventually will though).

Fui ni's 2nd day: 15,589
Total so far: 66,463

Tomomi Itano Interview
-English Speaking Area Ver.-

bondingo 14th July 2011 09:25 PM

^I saw that yesterday! Tomochin was so adorable, but that interviewer seriously came form the gates of Hell.

I see a bit of Ayu, but I see Namie in her even more. The whole style of Dear J, both the song style and, even more so, the outfits, just screamed Namie. Plus, I think they look slightly similar, but only slightly.

And not bad sales! I was hoping for it to sell better, but that's still not bad at all, especially since she ranked 8th in senbatsu.

Mirrorcle Monster 14th July 2011 10:15 PM

My copy of Type B and C shipped yesterday ^_^
The sales are lower, but expected watching that AKB family relases something every week
I love the whole single, she made a great job
