I honestly half of the lyrics are just pretty sounding gibberish, especially when I read this tweet:

@timwellard : I won't give anything away, but... Some words you will find in a dictionary, some you won't.

yeah, i've been thinking about that too and i also wonder if they really are just made up words. i don't know. its weird that they would just totally make up words though.

TeamAyu2004 1st September 2011 03:02 AM

^ i assumed that he was talking about an English dictionary?

There are 2 parts the chants. The beginning / background of chorus, and the ending.

The ending should be like all of you said, "goodbye" in the different languages.

The beginning though, is all jumbled up. Since Tim said some you won't find it in dictionary, could it be something like Kokia's Follow the Nightingale?

Quote:

Geia sas (Greek)
Lah korn (Thai)
Adiós (Spanish)
Alvida (Hindi) ?
Auf wiedersehen (German)
Do svidania (Russian)
Au revoir (French)
+ another Slavic language probably
Do you guys hear the same? These are in order of appearance.

To me makes sense..I think the last "Goodbye" is Dosvidanija repeated..so it's Dosvidanija-Au revoir-Dosvidanija..This is definitely the ending.
At this point, considering what Tim tweeted, the beginning or it's invented language (please no!!) or it's latin..yes latin could be find in a dictionary but not quite a common one

You're right^ ^

Especialy for the 1st one ''geia sas(γειά σας)'' I'm sure because I'm Greek(lol)xD

And the rest must be correct, since that's what I hear too at the end of the song(o^-')b

Good job!

I really hate the singing at the end XD I wish it was more masculine.

Great thread though, you guys are genius.

I found this when googling Lasa without the 'n' by accident aha...

Quote:

Lasa may refer to:

Lasas were gods and goddesses In Etruscan mythology who accompanied Turan, the goddess of love.
It does sound more like 'laNsa' in the song though...

I did try to ask him too, but, he just refused to give anything away apart from saying that some words we will find in dictionaries, some won't *shrugs*

I think someone had already pointed it out, but song title is spanish lol

ExodusUK 2nd September 2011 12:18 PM

Ayu should invent a language, it would be a wonderful outlet for her creativity.

Not really ^^; Timmy also said is a word you can find in many languages... Spanish, French, Italian and many others I think.
Also, I think yesterday he said the chorus at the beginning is not Latin. I'm so curious to know what they're singing ç__ç

title could be spanish or italian as well, if we discover in which language they picked it ,we could focus on that..

I transcripted whet i hear at the begginning of the song:

Quote:

Lasa, tu li ansa, eru mera, tu li ensa romajiro
I don't know what is it, to me it sounds like latin mixed with another language...

I was convinced that it's "Adios al final", I don't know if that's correct spanish but I thought it would be like "final goodbye" (and if it's correct or not...it's a Japanese song, Ayu had lots of wrong English before, too haha)

Aderianu 9th September 2011 01:46 PM

I hear "adios I feel" %)

:D everyone of us should take pride and transcript the silly thing we heard!
Here my version:

Quote:

Lanza, Purilanza (or Brillanza), eru derra, Purienza romajiro
I can't stop laughing at my own words..so odd:lech

Yeah huh.. Like I said that's just what I thought would make sense. I kinda wish it wouldn't be "adios al final" just because it would break the pattern as the others seem to be purely "goodbye" with no 'added words' but that's just me xD It very well could be correct though since it sounds a lot like he's making the "F" sound at where the word "final" would be, I'm definitely not a language specialist either though. :tipsy

But gosh I hope they didn't just make up a language for the beginning, that would just feel stupid.. :laugh Maybe I'll convince myself it's some antique accent used in some myserious monastery and drop it lol.

ExodusUK 9th September 2011 08:36 PM

It might be worth while making a clip of the chant and sharing it on a linguistics message board or something, they can probably figure it out some stuff we're missing.
