I was going to say I thought this is better then teenage dream.
I felt teenage dream had amazing singles, but the rest of the album for me was lacking.
This album seems to be stong all around.

I can;t wait to get my copy. It's so pretty and shiny.

I'm disappointed. There are songs that I like, but overall I get the impression that I'm just not going to be listening to this album much after the first month. When Teenage Dream was released a lot of people said it was too obvious and immature, yet the songs had something about them that just made them fun, uncomplicated pop that I still like listening to when they show up on shuffle. PRISM doesn't stand out to me the way I'd hoped it would.

This Is How We Do is probably one of the worse songs on the album. I was like "No, burn it" and that's how I felt like until an hour ago. It's still a bad song but it's catchy. Mariah Carey-oke.

Mh. I really don't know what to say about PRISM.
I really appreciate Katy went in a radical and relatively new direction. One Of The Boys, Teenager Dream and PRISM are all very different and I like that. That's the thing which kept me away from the repackaged version of Teenager Dream, all the songs sounded like copies of what we already had in the album, so what's the use?
I think I need some time for this album, but I like what I hear. I agree when people say it's not at the same level of Teenage Dream, but maybe it's just really different. Or maybe Katy is just trying too hard to be really different. I don't know yet, lol! But I'll buy it, it's interesting and easy to listen to, and not awful at all.
Favourites for now: Unconditionally, Walking On Air (lovely! <3) and Choose Your Battles.

I have love and hate moment when I listen Prism

I love how Katy Perry experience new style and change her style, but I hate the album with many "meh, forget it " songs.

I've been listening to it non stop since I got it.

I agree with most of you, all the songs are pretty similar, pretty disappointing.
I still think One of the Boys is my favourite Katy's album.

I caved in and listened to a radio stream of the ablum on iTunes. By the Grace of God and Double Rainbow are soooooo amazing omg! But decided to leave four tracks unlistened so I can have something to look forward to when I purchase the album.

Am I the only one who loves Legendary Lovers?

Double Rainbow and By The Grace of God are amazing. Although, I prefer the live version of the latter.

To be honest, the album is growing on me. Not as disappointed anymore.

This is album is really good. Still liked it a lot more then Teenage dream when it first came out.

Hearing the beat drop in "Dark Horse" through my car stereos gave me so much life o.m.g.

By the Grace of God is one of my favorite songs of this year. It's really, really good.

Prism is a very nice album! It's more mature than her other ones, and has very nice lyrics. All the songs are pretty decent. Only problem is most of the songs all sound the same.

It's great! One of my faves.
