Glad to see my favorite artists on the list (including ayu)! <3 Although, I'm a little bummed that Kuu-chan isn't on that list. o_o

After what I heard about EXILE winning the 55th Japan Record Award (denying AKB48 a third consecutive and breaking Ayu's record with four wins)...I have a feeling that the WHITE team (the male artists) are going to win the Kouhaku.

Sorry, red team, but...

^ Oh they did? I gotta watch that, one of HIRO's last appearances with EXILE, and his wife (Ueto Aya) hosted the event too. Must have been emotional.

Red Team last won in 2011. It will be interesting to see the outcome tomorrow evening.

White team won again. But this time the (dreaded) ball system is BACK! 9 balls to 4, just to let you know, so it wasn't even close. The majority of people went with the white team (if you're wondering in terms of popular vote; I just call the ball votes like the U.S. presidential electoral votes). I'm still mad at this though, not letting the red team to win, and it's all because of too much Johnny's...why are they the force that even AKB48 cannot handle??? Maybe here's an idea that I would think about:

(Although, then again, I'm a fan of some Johnny's musicians, such as ARASHI...)

Or maybe let's try to be fair in some way, particularly artist list, in a way to sway to a more closer voting competition, and a possible start at a red team dominance... But that isn't going to happen pretty soon, unless a significant number of Johnny's start to lose steam, which I don't think is the case right now, even SMAP or ARASHI...

No wonder why I don't care about J-pop (despite my AKB48 and certain Johnny's groups following) so much - too much Johnny's dominating Music Station and Kouhaku (possible reason why the boys keep winning), along with a combination that Ayu's getting too old for me...

Exile win for the fourth time? it's really weird...wasn't the system for japan record awards is just three times max?

lol @ how they keep having to push regulations because no one can ever have a chance at anything.
