I love the vocals in Ivy. They're unusual and really not...pretty I guess I could say. I love Walk and Ivy equally, even if they are similar. I find that Anything for You is also somewhat similar but I haven't taken to it too well.

The ballad of hers that I just can't bring myself to like is How Beautiful You Are. I can't explain it but it really is my #2 most disliked song of hers. XD (1st being Teens...ugh....)

Ivy is more of a late autumn/ December type of song for me but Gloria is definitely fitted in September/October. Depends on the mood and day.

One thing that nobody mentioned about Gloria is that Ayumi's vocals actually sound good here. She's conveying nostalgy but at the same time she seems firm.

Just realised that both Gloria and Sweet Season fit this time of the year when hoar-frost starts appearing in the morning. Today was the first day of this kind and I suddenly felt the need to listen to these 2 songs (I haven't listened to Sweet Season in a very long time)

^ I listened to Sweet Season like yesterday or the day before and it was sooooo nice, it has this september/october feel.

I will always ADORE Gloria. And Missing. Those two are the best songs on LOVE again. :D

In terms of Ivy vs. Gloria, I don't really see them as comparable. Gloria is more similar to Life imo. Haha but tbh Gloria has become a bit forgettable. When it comes on I like it, but I don't find myself actively playing it...

I was playing a Bell in the car while driving my mom and she asked if it was from a Korean drama or a film haha I was like "nope it's a regular instrumental" Ayu's intros/interludes are always SO good (well, usually lol. Not a fan of taskillusion).

^ Seriously. LABYRINTH is SOOOO beautiful to listen to. As far as intros go, everlasting dream is still my favourite especially the Rainbow Dew Drop Mix <3 Lemme go listen to it right now actually!

The copy of Ayu's The Live 2008-2009 photobook I grabbed off Y!J FINALLY arrived today...I already took my hair dryer to the binding and ripped it apart to scan. :laugh

I was actually going to ask you about it. I remember I requested the pics and you said you would scan them when you got your copy. I thought "Choco forgot! :("

It's great! The book is on the thicker side and most of the photos are two-page spreads...so piecing them together after scanning is the hard part :laugh The one above was the quickest one so I did that first :P

I didn't forget, I promise! :heart Long story short--I'm never using SAL to ship anything ever again. :gun

Thinking of buying the ayu LIFETSYLE BOOK since it's so cheap on CDJapan, like, 23€ with shipping fees. But since i'm planning on getting a few TA tour goods once they're available... My dad told me i was buying too much ayu stuff, and that's the weird thing about me : i'm a pretty stingy (is this the correct word?) person, i don't like spending my money at all, but when it comes to ayumi, i don't even look at the receipt, i don't mind spending hundreds of euros on her :laugh

I had that book, but when I had friends over after the bar one night a few year ago, one of them ended up pissing all over my stereo and the book (which I didn't realize until the following morning after driving his ass home)!
