They're not all singing classic songs, some are promoting new releases. Sandaime J Soul Brothers will be singing a new song from their new album as well. And, technically, Ayu's also promoting a new release, it just so happens to be a re-release of an old album... As for AKB48 singing 3 songs... oh, well, I don't really like it, but I can't say I'm surprised.

Well, she performed SEASONS on FNS. Also, she did A song is born on Music Station in September. And she also performed on NHK SONGS in July, don't remember the set list for that one

oaristos 12th March 2016 12:03 AM

^ One of the songs she performed on NHK SONGS was Step by step, so I guess it ended up being sort of a promotion for sixxxxxx?

Didz-19 12th March 2016 12:18 AM

FINALLY!!!! so great she will sing A song For XX!!!

Bigtop 12th March 2016 02:56 AM

A Song for XX? I'll take it! Cannot really wait for the return of Ayu on MSte! (A BEST 15th anniversary, that's why...)

rikku1994 12th March 2016 04:20 AM

I would cringe if it's like SEASONS so THANK GOD FOR ASFXX

tokyoxjapanxfan 12th March 2016 05:56 AM

Wow great news :-D

aliceshields 12th March 2016 07:06 AM

Oh yeah! An exciting news.

orbitalaspect 12th March 2016 07:14 AM

Well, I certainly hope that this is a first step back to doing promo again. I think her entire career will benefit from doing these things again.

js_surrealism 12th March 2016 09:59 AM

Wow awesome news, she's still not making any new music and performing yet another song released over 10 years ago . . . again!

alternarist 12th March 2016 12:08 PM

wow A Song for XX. probably for promotion for A BEST ~15th Anniversary~

xLuna&1LOVE 12th March 2016 12:32 PM

I will not praise anything, until we will hear her singing. Her vocals have been terrible.
That Song is Born performance, SEASONS, whole CDL 2015-2016... uhm, yeah. Please, Ayu, use A Song For Xx to your own benefits. It's a great choice, people love it. Please, sing well.

Pieces_of_SEVEN 12th March 2016 01:36 PM

This is exciting! Personally, I'd hope it's the arrangement from A BEST. Makes sense, right? :P

aliceshields 12th March 2016 02:53 PM

I imagining is a rock version XD

kotora 14th March 2016 12:30 AM

Happy with this choice but I hope she will not perform the song with too many dancers. This song is more personal than a song is born

This times a fucking million, God!

I do think it'll probably be just her and the band, though. That's how she typically performs the song, right?

LONJJONG 14th March 2016 06:11 AM

Wow, AKB48 and Ayu on the same date :brush
I am hoping for a full performance.
