Ayu has the same hairstyle I had last year. I thought I looked amazing at the time, but looking back at it, I wished I never dyed my hair.

Even though Ayu is way more beautiful than I am (plus she has a forehead, I don't have), I see that the hairstyle looks very heavy and makes her face looks smaller (and even a bit chubbier), exactly like my hairstyle did.

Ayu is slim, elegant and beautiful, so I am sure that if she was styled differently, even the dark hairstyle would not look so intensely heavy on her. Really, it is just that and it won't even matter whether she has bangs or not.
I loved her look when she was with GACKT last year and she slight beige-tint she had during the Made in Tokyo/Japan live shows. Even the dark haircut-promo for Made in Japan album (like in my signature, or the pics with the sunglasses), did not look heavy. She needs a stylist who lights up her look. It is all in the details.

That's such an classic Ayu expression tho <3 I love it! Can't wait to watch it! (and hope that someone will sub it)

OMG! The scene with her and the impersonators LOL That's kinda epic tho! For so long we've seen impersonators of her on many talkshows and to actually see her with them will be so funny!

Just wondering and thinking about something very random but... Maybe she'll become one of those celebrities that just appears as guests of talk shows in the future? A lot of talks hows have people that once was very famous back in their time and now they are hosts or guests of talk shows... You know what I mean? Just wondering!

i think that is just the right way to confront the 'trashy actions' with a lot of fun. it is going to be so funny, i think. i hope they do a small evolution acapella. amazing.

i dont mind her looks and honestly, she has always worn dresses like that. it didnt suprise me. i dont mind the hair, too but in this beautiful face shot, her hair looks like a wig somehow. the right side is higher than the left side. looks kind-a awkward

I wouldn't say this is Ayu's best look ever but I think she looks very pretty and on trend. I think it's better than the mix match oversized streetwear looks.

I LOVE the hair color, would love to have it, but I dyed my hair dark brown a few weeks ago (at the moment it's more or less a mix between black with red shimmer at the bottom and dark brown at the top), so the color would turn out completely different.

I hope she'll stand with her true personnality during the show. She isn't an "idol" anymore and nearly 40years old now and japanese people consider her more like an "okaasan" (mother) due to her age and career.
I'm looking forward to see the show anyway. And who knows : maybe she'll say that a new album is coming soon ??? :)

Let's not pretend Ayu doesn't act "kawaii" sometimes, because she does. Which is fine, but you can still think it's not something that reflects well on an older person.
