^ The date of recording of Ayu's performance is on July 16th, if this recording is indeed for FNS that airs on the 24th then yes, it is pre-recorded.

Wonder why ayu don't want to sing live, she will be free from touring from 19 to 30 July. Maybe she's going on little vacation somewhere

IIRC last year ayu's FNS performance was pre-recorded as well and she has never performed on live-boardcasted music shows since the last time she appeared on Music Station in 2017. I think it's quite possible that she knows how worst her vocal is now and thus decided not to perform live on TV anymore or otherwise she will be treading on twitter regarding her terrible singing again.

FNS Uta no Natsu Matsuri is considered relatively short with it being about 4 1/2 hours as compared to the recent THE MUSIC DAY 2019 ~Jidai~ at almost 10 hours long + this coming weekend's Ongaku no Hi 2019 that'll be almost 24 hours :dead2

I won't be surprised if she doesn't include any "recent" songs in that medley but I'm excited to watch the performance. It's always good to see her on TV.

I think that she want to be sure to have a correct vocal because of her ears. She might not be confident anymore even if she can sing well in spite of her deafness.
We know how aggressive haters can be. Ayu is human and all that violence could be one of the reasons she does barely TV show nowadays. It should be very exhausting when each act you did is denigrated.

Yes :P ayu can still sing very well. Even though her voice gets a bit hoarse sometimes. She can sing.
