Yep, Avex is really bad to upload short version of videos from 20 years ago too, despite DVD compilations of the videos being long out of print.

Yes actually. When you select a resolution or quality when you’re playing a video (typically a higher resolution) youtube supposedly remembers it and automatically sets to it from that point on. Unless you have a poor internet connection, a video you watch has a lower resolution than what you’ve selected before, or if you pick another resolution which would reset it.


I have a suspicion that Avex is slowly dumping her assets and whatnot since she’s not as popular nor profitable anymore.

Guys, there's something I wanted to say. At first, when the full videos got released on 480p on Ayu's YouTube channel, I noticed something different about the "WHATEVER" PV. Because in the original edit of the opening scene, after her name and the song title showed up and fades, it shows the two shadows of Ayu merge and fades into one Ayu. But when the full video came out in 480p, it shows a different edit of Ayu's entrance. Instead, after her name and the song title showed up and fades, it shows Ayu fading in instead of the two shadows of her merging into one.

So, since it's upgraded into 1080p quality, the different Ayu's entrance version uploaded in Ayu's YouTube channel (which is only 480p) was replaced. I missed that different version tho.

EDIT: I wonder if anyone still has the first 480p version of WHATEVER uploaded on Ayu's YouTube Channel.
