I really wanted to see the 4K version of this performance.

WOW! She sounds fabulous on fairyland in particular, I'm blown away by how much more control she has. Her voice is also rounder and less strained.

I expected it to be very clear and sharp, when you'll be able too see even ayu's pores, but it's just blurred. So don't expect too much from it

Maybe it wasn't filmed in 4K. Every performance on Kouhaku broadcasted from NHK 101 Studio isn't in 4K and it's very noticeable the uspcaling. Maybe that was the case.
