Yes this article was from Taiwan apple 'cause it was said "ªL¨Î¾ì(the name of the correspondent's)/¥x¥_³ø¾É(reporting from Taipei)" while Taipei is the capital of Taiwan.
But what I'm not completely agree with you is that you said," Taiwan apple is usually not as negative as those in HK apple". As I thought, apple's newspaper not only in HK but also in Taiwan often reports affaires or things that are not real at all, even on political pages. Taiwan apple might be like HK papers more. Although neutral reports could exit, readers, such as I, cannot endure any false articles.

And I think silentscreamer's and Rei Rei's translation is more correct than traeci's. Carmen did not mean Ayu's arms and legs are fat , instead, just like what silentscreamer had translated, "having chubby body parts the same way."

hehe, my opinion is only based on the articles talking about ayu ^^ There's a particular reporter in HK apple that often express negative comments about ayu, but I haven't seen one in Taiwan Apple so far ("negative" in here has no relation to either the article is true or false though...) I didn't make it clear in my previous post, and I shouldn't make a fast comment like that I guess (without reading enough taiwan apple, hehe...) :think

We don't like repoters to lead to a misunderstanding or to make up stories and pretending that something had happened. It is because this kind of reports do always be a real hurt to the person involved.
Maybe I should not refer those "stories" to "false" articles.
Maybe all the reporters who do this kind of reports around the world have their reason, I guess.

If there are reporters, as you said, often express negative comments about somebody, they impair their dignity as a professional reporter.
Only if we readers stop showing favor to these articles will we be able to prevent another one from being produced.
But I think this will not carry out since people always need "entertainment", "news/articles" people can read as some kind of pastime or pleasure.

hahaha.. you guys r gettin to far out..don't worry.. this article is not of any negative opinions or what... it is just some small small news.. about this cute taiwanese artiste *** host *** actress feel about having to go watch ayumi live concert in japan, and thatr the ticket is bought by her record company and the seat is so near to the stage and that she can be able to see ayumi's eye lashes!!! regarding the fat part is actually to exclaim in regard to how much she like ayumi to the extend that she thinks she has some parts of similar to her.... even some of the local fans thought they are liked long lost sisters.... besides... this Carmen is not fat at all... from what i have seen on tv.. she is that type of sweet and cute girl, and she is not FAT!!! so, no worry ^_^
