Granted- that's a loooooooooot of albums... but it's not Ayu-norm. Reminds me of the whole Michael Jackson thing when he realeased his latest album... it sold A LOT- but it's not what he's used to.

I hope Ayu doesn't have to go through that.

Does Anyone else know how long Ayu's other albums were number 1? I thought that I read somewhere that Ayu's albums are usually in the top three for a while so I don't know how long any of the albums were number one. Personally I think being third isn't bad, first would be great and second a bit better than third but at least she's not tenth by week two or worse already off the charts. I'm also pretty sure that she'll pullof 1,000,000 by week four.

Yesterday, i watched a show called 'Young & Loaded' and they said how amazing it was for Avril Lavigne to sale 1 million copies in only 15 weeks. LOL. I think Ayu will hit a million next week and the 4th week.

That's too bad. I figured it would hit 1 million faster with four different covers and all. :(

musiQ is a great album and MY STORY is also great...

It's not that MY STORY is not selling well...musiQ is selling amazingly WELL! And the Kinki Kids best album had a pretty low sales for its first week compared to ayu's MY STORY first week, if anyone cared to see the number.....they will probably fall faster than ayu.

I agree with t265136767736 that she released it at not the best time. With musiQ selling like that and Kinki releasing a compilation album, that was what happened.

tsk tsk... Just you not buying it should already please yourselves enough. You just can't hope to force everyone to think the way you think. It only means you are unsure about your own opinion about this album, if you need others (by the way of the sales numbers) to prove your own point.

BTW, I hope you don't get this comment in the wrong way. I'm not telling you to buy it nor start liking this album.

Yesasia sales don't even count for this anyway do they? And we've been over this many time, we're all free to have our own opinions. I did happen to buy "I am.." recently to support Ayu...:rolleyes

Not only Yesasia; all online sales, regardless of whether they be downloads or actual copies of the album bought through CDJapan, HMV.co.jp, towerrecords.co.jp or whatever, are not counted; only actual sales of physical copies from shops count.
