Thanks so much for translating! I enjoyed reading it.

Read it @ AYUNITE! forum yesterday.

I knew Ayu wanted to do something different without thinking if people are gonna like it. I knew that "B&D" was something she wanted to try even though she knew some fans might hate. Starting to get what is the whole "off/on" and "misunderstood" concept.

thanks for the translation.

andre2907 9th December 2005 04:15 PM

very interesting. And she did the lyrics, duh! She re-wrote from English to Japanese.

Mirai Noah 9th December 2005 04:43 PM

Thanks! :) Interesting to read!

“When you”ve been working as long as I have, there aren”t many things you don”t know anymore. You know what to do to make people happy, you know what kind of songs everyone likes. But I want to throw something out that I don”t know what people will do with. Will people be scared of what I”ve thrown out and not be able to accept it, and pretend now to see it? Or will they try to catch it because it”s something Ayu”s thrown out, and follow me no matter what? I want to do something that I”m not sure of what people”s reactions about.”

“Yeah, despite whether they think it”s good or not. Because this is what I want to do, that”s all.”

:laugh Go Ayu :shughug That's my girl!!

Raleigh 9th December 2005 06:48 PM

Yeah I love how she's doing what she loves instead of what others do want her to release.

jasjasss 9th December 2005 06:50 PM

omg
im so worried about her new album
i hope the remaining songs are not GOSPELLY type

UvegotMail 9th December 2005 06:51 PM

I don't think they would be, I think she just wanted something different and unexpected for the release.

Hanazaki 9th December 2005 07:44 PM

Thanks for the translation!

It'd be really interesting to hear the original 12 songs from GEO...

Aisha_Angel 9th December 2005 07:44 PM

That is so cool, I feel a little closer to Ayu now. She's so much realer now to me, after this interview. Not that I thought she wasa fake person and all, but you know how it is with some celebrities and all...
But I think it's awesome that Ayu likes SWEETBOX; esp since a lot of us like Sweetbox too. Hopefully they'll work together more often b/c I really liked the new single.

Cyria 9th December 2005 08:35 PM

This was a very interesting read. I liked hearing the story of B&D/Pride.

Delirium-Zer0 9th December 2005 08:49 PM

I'm just really curious about how the original Sweetbox demo of Bold & Delicious sounded, now. XD

Annabelle 9th December 2005 08:54 PM

I really enjoyed reading this. I wonder if there will be some other songs composed by GEO of Sweetbox on (miss)understood...?

It appears that Sweetbox will be releasing their next album sometime in 2006, titled "Bold & Delicious". Their original version of B&D will probably be included on it. So you're getting your wish! (I sorta wonder what it'll sound like also)

Raleigh 9th December 2005 11:19 PM

Interesting. I'm also curious to see how it sounds.
