no they are different. morning misume is a whole bundle of at least 9 girls, while mini moni is 4 girls. mini moni sings kids songs, they are for the kids market.

Ayumi has good PVs, but of course she has a good company to pay for the PVs. So does Gackt. Otsuka Ai's PVs are decent, although Sakuranbo and SMILY makes me wonder what kind of drug was she or the director on when the concept came up...

But I always thought Ayu had good PVs, even when she was a newbie artist without the sales. (I love the YOU PV).

hai! MM their videos are very plain not lot of thing going on... ayu was having great music videos since 1999. ^^ she started her music job good aside from the MM girls... >_< they were too many maybe their company went low budget because the company has to pay all of them.. e.. many many mini moni oso momosu! a! haha!!

"many many mino moni oso momosu!" haha! LOL! :P

I really appreciate how Ayumi puts in her best effort for each PV. Not many artistes do that.

But then again, can you really compare those two bands with Ayu? o_O They seem like they belong in different genres...

Yeah, they are completely different. But H!P groups are good in their own way too. I used to really hate/look down on Morning Musume and the subgroups, that is until I actually gave them a fair chance. Now I find them to be completely entertaining and fun to watch.

Close, but not completely right. The only stipulation for Mini Moni is that the girls are under 5 feet tall(I think). And while their music does sound more "kid friendly", they actually had many songs that took a hold on the mainstream public in Japan.

Oh my, so true! I don't understand either. I think the only reason Morning Musume's "well known" is because that name of the band has been around or so long. I've never really watched their PVs, I've only see their lives and they are SO boring. They dance around like a bunch of clowns.. [no offence] and I can never understand why people think that they're good.

Yeah, I think we should be happy that ayu is still producing music that are GOOD and you can see that she put a lot of effort towards her music. She takes her music seriously, that's all I can say.

Just like morning musume has gone downhill since Koko ni iruzee!.... :headache

It's not that I do NOT like ayu's music now a days, moments was one of the songs that made me discover her, but I do think that if it had not been because of the songs she made before RAINBOW, I would NEVER have become a big fan of hers.

To put it differently, few songs (if any) she releases now amazes truly me like M, Fly High, Boys & Girls and voyage did. I really enjoy her stuff nowa days, and I am looking forward to her releases and sometimes, (like in with HEAVEN), I enjoy it in the same way as the old songs.
