I wanted to see that drama! T.T What is PopJam? I haven't heard of it... is it on TV? what channel?

PSYCHEDELICOdust 12th February 2006 05:22 AM

I adore Madan ~Der blahblahblah~

Mirai Noah 12th February 2006 05:45 PM

^ LOL, I love that song too!

PopJam is a weekly music show (like Music Station or Utaban) and he cohosts the talk parts with the featured artist.

appears 12th February 2006 09:44 PM

sorry but there is no way u can classify him/her as a rock artist :P
ill admit dat the video 4 "魔弾~Der Freischütz~" is kindov cool thou, an da song itself is pretty catchy... hard2sing in karaoke thou >_<

DDR ninja 13th February 2006 02:50 AM

^I've never seen the video for "魔弾~Der Freischütz~" T.T I like that song too. It's in his new album, Under:Cover XD (Here's a link to the previews for Under:Cover http://www.sonymusic.co.jp/Music/Arc...on/m_info.html ).
A lot of people say that TMR doesn't fit in the j-rock category, but I think a lot of his newer songs are a lot more rockish than his older ones. His style's kinda changing becuase he's beginning to write more of his songs. I like all of his music ^_^

I'd loove to see PopJam but I don't know if it comes on tv where I live :(

Funny you should say that, I love his puffy lips and androgynous features! :) Actually, I have puffy lips myself. I used to hate my lips a lot, but after I saw that TMR had puffy lips too and he still looked good I felt better about myself and have come to like my lips. Yay for puffy lips!! XD

^ dude, check out da vid if u can, im not even a fan of his but i tink dat vids awesome...

Azmaria 13th February 2006 05:41 PM

I love his songs, but don't own an album of him, I spent most of my money with Mangas Ayu & Gackt, my fav song of him is Vestige n_n, I have almost every PV of him, but not Venus and some others >_<

DDR ninja 21st February 2006 01:10 AM

^ awesome! I've never heard vestige before but it seems like it's a popular song. I actually don't have any of his PVs on my computer T.T I've only seen part of some his PVs on TV. I looked at a preview for madan and it was HILARIOUS!! XD It was only a preview but it cracked me up! That girl's father was really beating him up lol ^_^ I wish I could see the whole thing.

I'm excited about Under:Cover! Apparantly the songs were voted in by fans so the 15 tracks are the most popular TMR songs. Here's the track listing:

01. HIGH PRESSURE
02. WHITE BREATH
03. HEART OF SWORD ~夜明け前~
04. AQUALOVERS ~DEEP into the night~
05. Zips
06. THUNDERBIRD
07. BOARDING
08. HOT LIMIT
09. Joker
10. LOVE SAVER
11. 夢の雫(yume no shizuku)
12. 魔弾~Der Freischutz~
13. Twinkle Million Rendezvous

Why in the world is Web of Night number 45?! That was such a good song! :thud

greggerz189 21st February 2006 03:36 AM

^ So it's a BEST album?

Ziyte 21st February 2006 04:25 AM

He performed at Otakon (an anime convention in Baltimore, MD) and I think he sang "Heart of Sword" like 4 times ^^;;

I didn't get to go but I heard it was a good concert. I remember they were selling T-Shirts, and posters and stuff in a booth in the dealer's room.

"Invoke" is one of my favorite songs <3

Basically, though he re-recorded them, and the mixes are different. The poll was to see which songs the fans wanted him to "re-do" so to say.

"vestige" is an excellent, excellent song. :D

Halla 21st February 2006 06:38 PM

The re-recorded versions found on 'Under:Cover' are more 'rockish' , less 'technoish'.

btw on 'Under:Cover' booklett I feel he crossed the line a bit. I'm not into the 'visual-kei' so I don't know if it's uncommon there or not , but I think fake boobs are a bit much. he has them in one pic in the booklett :o
anyone know is it really him in the all the pics on 'under:cover' booklett ?

^ Ah yes, the cross-dressing. When I first saw it I couldn't believe it was him, but it's him all right. I didn't know what to think at first, but later I just had to laugh at him. I don't think cross-dressing like that is that big a deal in Japan as it is in America. I don't mind the fake boobs, I actually think it's funny XD He really looks like a girl! And a pretty one at that (like in the picture from Under:Cover below). lol ^o^ I don't know what he intended to portray in that photobooklet thought, what sort of hidden meaning or what sort of theme he tried to follow (a lot of times he has some sort of theme, like Vertical Infinity was sort of a spacey theme and Wild Rush was a jungle theme), if any at all. I'm still trying to figure that out.

But I think he was just trying to be funny. He's got a good sense of humor, like in the Madan ~Der Freischutz~ PV, which I have the link to for those who are interested:

Thanks for recommending it to me appears, I was laughing SO HARD!! XD I ought to check out Vestige too, as Miraih Noah says it's really good ^_^

Also, here's a video of him singing Ignited live:

Great special effects! He's so good on stage! :yes
