I was struck by the difference between the appearance of her eyes in these two pictures:

What a difference cosmetics make (assuming the one on the left wasn't retouched).

Yes...actually, right now in Japan, people are mostly wearing it to prevent spring allergies (this season anyway). Ayu even talked about it in her concert.
