I wouldn't consider BONNIE PINK or Tokyo Jihen as "J-rock" persay...o_o At least not with what I've heard from them...Tokyo Jihen seems moreso classified as maybe a bit jazzy. Bonnie Pink, maybe leaning towards the jazz/relaxing pop music side.

Of course if Amber is wanting to listen to this genre as well she's welcome to do so :yes...it's just not what she really asked for in the initial post ^^;

They often take long hiatuses, first it was a few months, then almost a year, then just over a year, and and they're at three years right now. I still have hope that they could release some more band stuff, since they usually get together after several solo releases. But who knows. .-.

Both are definitely rock - pop/rock at the very least. Tokyo Jihen's is very jazz-influenced which is particularly evident on Adult, but their overall sound is just plain rock.

As for whether it is J-rock - well, it's rock from Japan. So yeah.

The female lead singer has the best voice ever. But there's a few screaming. Nothing dramatic or too loud.
