i have one that's funny in a creepy way: 'stacy's mom'. it's funny...especially when i saw my classmates 'lip-synch' (more like dance) to it...but the lyrics are weird..

stacy's mom has got it goin' on
she's all i want, and i've waited so long
stacy can't you see? you're just not the girl for me...
cuz i'm in love with
i'm in love with
i'm in LOVE WITH STACY'S MOM!!! (ew)
it's basically the opposite of '17' XD;;

^Stacy's mom thoroughly creeped me out the first time I listened to it. It still do.

Not lyric-wise, but the music intro in MM's Illuminati scares me...

A lot of industrial/goth rock can be pretty creepy. Marilyn Manson's Sweet Dreams, N.I.N. has a bunch, Orgy's Stitches, a bunch of Malice Mizer, even Ayu's WONDERLAND

Dir en grey - Berry
Especially that little girl in the beginning saying "I'm sorry...I didn't mean it...I'll be good, I'm gonna kill you. I'm gonna blow your head off like raseberry jam!"
yarg....

Fake? - Bus Stop #74
Fake? - Baby Blue and the Two Headed Monster

Dir en grey - Clever Sleazoid

Mainly because of the whole "One day I will **** your parents" lyric

That one disturbed me for a while, the idea of him doing that just gave me so many bad mental images. :(

Asami Abe's "Kimi wo Tsureteiku" has creepy sounding music. The lyrics are more sad than creepy, though.

I'll go for the universal cop-out and say "Adagio for Strings" by Samuel Barber, for obvious reasons. I'll also say "Gnossiennes No. 1 and 4" by Erik Satie. I love listening to these while driving in the car at night. It makes me feel like I'm going insane. *FUN!*

^^"Adagio for Strings" by Samuel Barber...really? I love that song...i always thought of it as sad though...

when i was younger, we'd be driving and my dad would play this one Rob Zombie (i think) song that just used to freak me out so much

it would start out like with storm sounds and a gate creaking, then a little girl would start talking about stuff...i only remember the last part...

"and all the little children would hide in their beds,
for fear that the devil would come chop off their heads...
*really creepy laugh*"

then the music starts. What less can you expect from rob zombie...

i don't remember the name of this song...does anyone recognize it?

I recognized the name of that song immediately, but I've only heard a version of it by DJ Tiësto, I'd love to hear the original.

You guys really need to listen to "Taut" by PJ Harvey, it's really creepy the way she sings 'Even the son of God had to die my darling, come on, say it!'

Or "Come to daddy" by Aphex Twin, which also has a terrifying video.

Both, wonderful songs.

you should hear the choral version of it...it's so perdy...i heard a version of it sung by an all male choir...it was crazy because they sang so high they sounded like women...you couldn't tell they were men. I have a version of it off of bearshare...but it's super crappy...even more so than Chronometry.

Spoiler:
In the olden days, to get men to sing that high, they used to castrate them....please don't make me explain...

immel 3rd August 2006 12:37 PM

^no need explaining, I know that already, lol. Thanks for the tip & info, will definately look around for the song.
