you know, i always question the validity of nominations like this. are people getting nominated merely b/c they're popular? or are they getting nominated b/c they're actually qualified for the job? a mod at AHS should have both a take-charge attitude AS WELL AS a PERSONALITY. too often, elections like this are done on favorability and popularity, rather than ability.

this has gotten to be a wonky forum as of late (if you don't believe that, then you're in DENIAL). weird, pointless arguments spring up out of the most harmless comments made by people who had no intention of insulting anyone. it takes an intelligent person to handle situations like that, someone who is a good communicator. someone who is both willing and able to handle any and all situations that come up. think twice, or even 3 or 4...oh hell, think 100 times before you nominate someone.

personally, i nominate Chibinina. she's both eloquent and intelligent, and in my opinion, of all the ANS members i know (and you know who you are), she's the only person that i would nominate.
