I think she messes up lyrics about an acceptable amount of times :D... but I might be biased, who knows.

I don't know if this is what's talked about, but if I remember well she missang the second line of chorus A. It sounded to me as if she wanted to sing "watashi no naka de" instead of "toki wo koete". So it mixed up to something like... "wataki"? lol I'm not sure though... Sorry.

As for CDL 05-06: I noticed she missang quite a bit. (I didn't watch the whole concert just several performances.) But it's sooo cu~te and natural. ^.^

For example:

Humming 7/4
She sang the last two lines of chorus A at the end of chorus B.

Motto takaku toberu
Datte tsubasa ga aru
Naitemo warattemo
Onaji nara warattokou

Endless sorrow
ayu sang pre-chorus A twice. That means she put "Koko e kite kono te wo" instead of "Douka kono inori wo".

Wow great senses u have...didnt notice that...i think those fans didnt really pay much attention.=P

I just noticed the the 2nd time she sings the Startin' chorus at Countdown Live 05-06, she messes up on the 3rd line, you can hear it too.

The line is

Tada ima kono shunkan dake wa

And she says like Tada ima-ni/tada ima ini

o.o

well she she messes up sometimes by forgetting lyrics it is cute

but alot of times artists do change lyrics to their songs every now and then... I think maybe Ayu does just sing with the lyrics and sometimes just sings what she is feeling at the time. Don't you think?

She messed up the lyrics to Endless sorrow during Dome Tour 2001 also. She does it alot, but I'm with you guys who'd rather see that than her lipsynching.

HiruNoKaze 6th September 2006 07:31 AM

^It was a line substitution right?

I didin`t notice. She did? O.o I usually notice those kind of things ^^ She added one more "wo-hoi" or whatever.. Or something else?

yeah there are actually two times i have seen on dvd that she forgot the lyrics of trauma. i wodner why she always forgets trauma, and not other songs.

and it is ok to forget lyrics. it must be scary to be standing on stage, performing in front of thousands of people. i think forgetting lyrics is much better than lip synching, as other people have pointed out.
