I guess that counted too, but you would've had to been around at the time / been an uber fan of Ayu..
I don't think many people here were crazy enough fans to fly over for a handshake and stuff.. a lot of people who were there were pretty much from the area.. |
whow nmskalmn ive never seen those pictures before where did they come from??i have only seen the youtube Ayu goes to Hong Kong thing.oh and besides i think u would have to be really lucky to meet Ayu in real life and actually talk to her.but the Team Ayu thing isent too bad of an idea.good luck :D

I can't remember the source. They were probably posted on an entertainment news site then copied to AHS.

I think I'd probably look like that girl in the left picture up there ^ o_o; I didn't know about the Handshake tour before...interesting! That was awhile ago, though, right?

The yellow scarf was given her by a fan. In Taiwan (IIRC) she started crying because a fan told her it was okay to marry (or something like that). |
i can't imagine meeting her... :heart
but honestly for us normal fans, especially those of us overseas, i think the only chance is to happen into her at an airport or something...and then thats really only in L.A., Chicago, or NY. :shrug |

What is the I am.. award? |
In the Cantonese TVB news broadcast that covered Ayu's appearance in Hong Kong, they show her receiving an award, people taking down a music store, and the handshaking session.
She got the award for I am.. because it sold high amounts or something. http://youtube.com/watch?v=rYLD51jb2gM |

Unfortunately the AHS archives of that era are lost. |
My advice is offer up a skill that she needs, and be the only one who can do it! When she comes to Vancouver to film her next hot video, I'll offer up my spare room and be her translator/tour guide. No one else can speak less-than-stellar Japanese AND has a spare room.
Ayu- "Wataa o motte kinasai!!!!!!!!!" Cory- "Waa... wa....." *flipping through dictionary* |

This person saw her in real life, and people who work for places she went to said she was slightly rude. :/ That's proof enough. And it's not like this has only happened once.. :/ Don't base her attitude in backstage stuff with her FRIENDS on her attitude with total strangers. |
