I KNOW! I downloaded the tracks some time ago and they were SO AWESOME. "So Good", "I Said Never Again", "Nothing Good About This Goodbye", "Negotiate With Love", blah blah are PERFECTION. But since it wasn't a success, no worldwide release was issued. That means, I'M DOOMED to never get that CD. :weep

Do you find my downloads suit your taste?

Awww....hopefully Rachel's next album will do amazing and it will get a worldwide release and a tour, in which she'll sing live!

Nice Krisdayanti set, CK! So far, I find some of the uploads kinda boring.. x__x Shiina Junpei is quite ok though. Maybe I'm growing out of the bossa nova phase. And moved on to scat singing. Sorry.

Yep, milkshake, I hope she releases in the US and gets famous.

Keishi 26th September 2006 02:21 PM

Thank you. I never expect someone will even realize her here. XD

Sorry to waste your time with those uploads, though. :laugh
Btw, what is "scat singing"?

Mad_Cactuar 26th September 2006 02:49 PM

No, you didn't waste my time dude. It was education after all. :yes

Scat singing is.. I dunno how to describe it. It's a part of jazz in the 1950's to 1960's. :laugh It's fun and different, quite upbeat. Stuff Ella Fitzgerald made.

Keishi 26th September 2006 02:58 PM

Talk about Ella's, I listened to her "My Funny Valentine" yesterday. It was wayyyy to smooth XD

I've listened to lots of covers that is much better than that, in my opinion. Was she the original singer of that song?

Mad_Cactuar 26th September 2006 03:22 PM

I'm not sure though, maybe it's someone elses. Those songs are OLLDDD. :laugh I like Lisa Ono, I just found out she was #72 in HMV's list of top 100 all time artistes. #42 was Ayu, #27 was Hikki.

Keishi 26th September 2006 03:42 PM

Lol. #42? XD

Is Lisa Ono any good? I only know one song from her, Derniere Valse.
I think her voice is very unigue & soothing.

Mad_Cactuar 26th September 2006 03:59 PM

I only know her bossa nova stuff, her English is very very good. I like her lots and saw her album today but bought Justin Timberlake instead. x__x

bossa nova is a cool genre. it is so classy and stylish, and it is relaxing as well!

you have to check out the queen of bossa nova, Lisa Ono, who is brazilian but her ancestors are originally from Japan. she makes bossa nova songs in english, french and portuguese.
