Of course they're stage lights. But the lights really look edited, hence my previous comment. I've honestly never seen lights sparkle so...well..wierdly. :| Sorry, I really don't know how to explain it.

You can achieve effects like those with camera lenses, well, camera lenses create them naturally, that's one possibility to why I think they're not edited. They could of course be entirely photoshopped, because I'm pretty sure the picture's been went over in photoshop for touch-ups already.
