angelina jolie did cover up her big tattoo on her right/left upper hand..
if ayu only has the "A"tattoo on her back..that's pretty easy to cover up..
but, instead of the unicorn..i don't know how they cover that up..

It is true that it is a weird move, there's a lot pointing against it, and who knows how reliable Ryan Chan is.

Possibly we might get confirmation about this later on, as Ayumi might reveal something about it.

Did anyone take a good look at their booklet? Or the scans. I haven't, yet.

AyUmIXx, the entire unicorn is not real, it's stated in the first post that it's only the A, and other small parts of it, that is supposed to be real.

It's just a little 'A' on her back :P

If you look at them for more than a second you notice that they are very different. It's not the same, unless that is the actual A tattoo, and the A for the album had extra curves painted onto it. That is quite possible.

yay, the curl above the A is extra painted for the cover.
and the half heart around the A is the part of the leg of the unicorn!
look again and you will see this!

I see it as more or less confirmed that she's actually got that tattoo, now. Considering Ryan Chan said that we might already know, if we were hardcore fans. That hint might have been towards that article.

While it might still not be true, right now I see it as more far fetched to not trust it than far fetched to trust it, haha. Both the original tattoo from that magazine, and the one on the Secret cover might be entirely faked, but as Ryan Chan himself stated that part of it was real, and there's even pictures and a report about that part, why not?

Tomoya got the second wing, the wing of Ayumis tattoo is covered in the newspaper shot, but apparent on the cover of Secret.

The A turned fancier for the cover and they turned the half of the heart into the unicorn/pegasus leg!!
We all know how avex is about their singers, something THAT similar wouldn't appear randomly MONTHS before the album was even mentioned publicly!

And yes, she could get one and then hide it! It's something between her and Tomoya! She just showed us her little secret, not directly! That's a thinker!

Tatoos can be easily hidden by make up.

To clarify a bit:
Ryan Chan stated that the A, and other small parts of the tattoo is real. If you remember there was a report about Ayumi getting a tattoo some time ago, the thread is here. That was back in September this year, 4 months ago. Thanks ayuayu and annime for bringing it up.

I put the two pictures between each other, and the similarities can be seen. For the Secret picture there was a few curves added onto the A. The half heart shape is the leg of the Unicorn, take a careful look. Ayumis wing is covered by her clothes in the article, but apparent on the Secret cover, the complement to the wing Tomoya has.

looks a bit weird, doesn't it? think only this small part of the wing is real and they tried to make into the bigger wing, but you can still see, that it is an smaller wing originaly :P

If it's to complement Tomoyas it has to be that big, but the small theory seems quite appropriate, too. Let's see. If she really made it she should reveal to us, although avex might say BIG NO to that.
