In alterna it's quite easy to hear on the "hey hey hey"s. Never tried listening to the TO BE versions beside each other, not very interested in that song.

I wouldn't have noticed the difference if you people hadn't pointed it out.

The only one that I ever realised was different on my own was alterna.

Well, that confirms my suspicions. I THOUGHT the intro to Born To Be... sounded very quiet on the album compared to the single - which is louder and clearer. I like the album mix better in that instance - it makes the explosion that much more exciting.

Someone care to upload the single mix of alterna so we can find out the difference?

Ayu has re-done Born to Be and Startin' to give them a more dynamic feel, I think. I did notice the differences though; Startin' seems more exciting than it does on the single.

I'm listening to the two alterna versions right now with a headset, and yeah, the differences is very clear, already from the start. I'll upload both versions.

Also, in the original (single) version you can hear slight echoes around the first "aru ga mama ni", which is not apparent in the album version.

Links coming.

May I know what makes Ayu's "Startin'" to have more dynamic and exciting feeling on it compared to the single version of it?
