I listen to CDs in my laptop more often than my stereo. But I do put them in my CD player on occassion if I really want to shake the house :)
|
Occasionally, most of the times, i just put music in my phone, and carry it around.
|
yes. when i'm going out to buy or collect a cd, i can't wait to ear it, so i'll put my discman in my bag so i can listen to it once it reach my hands.
or at home, when my sister is using the comp and i want to listen to my songs. this is when discman comes handy |
I always use my CD player in my room, especially at night. I'm just not buying into this whole mp3 over CD frenzy.
|
iPod nano is my savoir when i'm out and about
my computer wirelessly connects my iTunes music into my stereo, so that's the main thing i use to listen to music. i only buy CDs because i really like the CD, but i don't really listen to the actual CD much like Secret, i haven't really listened to the CD, but i listen to the mp3s constantly on my stereo |
Well the iPod kinda made using the cd player useless. XD I do use it to listen to my J-pop cds though.
|
nope -- i just use my ipod -- it has all my music, and there's no need to change cds/get up to change the volume etc.
|
I only use my CD player when cleaning my room lol
|
Cd player or ipod.....
Now that I have my ipod too...I sometimes listen to my CD player and that's because either my ipod needs to be charged or my friend wants me to listen to some of her songs on CD.......:lech
|
i use my cd player (hi-fi/stereo) all the time. I can honestly say i notice a difference between cd and mp3. However, i use mp3's more often since i can't exactly put a cd on with half my family in the room watching tv :laugh. I have a smaller hi-fi in my room which i also use for cd's when i'm up there.
I do use my creative zen micro a lot though. I don't leave the house without it and also use it when i'm in bed. |
It was years ago I last put a CD in my stereo. The last time I put an audio CD anywhere was in my CD drive in order to rip it.
I always listen through my computer where I got my wonderful winamp library. When I'm not at home or not in my room I often carry my mp3 player. I got Ayus discography in .flac but most of my other music is in various mp3 bitrates. |
I use my CD player often--I received the CD player probably around 10 years ago or so...but it still works very well and has great sound on it. My laptop has a decent sound system, too (haha, just checked--both my laptop and my CD player are Sony :laugh)...but sometimes I don't want to listen to music on my laptop because I want a more surround sound feel from my CD player. :P
Besides, when I do rip CDs to my computer, I only rip the ones I will actually listen to on my computer. Movie soundtracks/classical music/etc. CDs are usually reserved for CD player only. :yes Also, I do have an iPod, but I only use it when I'm walking to/from classes or working out. All other times, I rely on my laptop or my CD player for music. :yes |
Wouldn't it be easier to put all your CDs on your iPod instead, for example in order to never have to change CD and I believe it's also smaller than your CD player? :)
|
I still use a portable CD player.... in fact I'm using mine right now. I don't rip my CDs to put on my computer. And my iPod is very dead, i.e. the battery won't stay charged. All the mp3's on my computer are the one's I've downloaded, and I mostly listen to those when I'm using a computer. But right now I wanted to listen to a certain song, which is only on one of my CD's, so I got out my CD player to listen to it.
|
I occasionally use my stereo's CD player in my room, but every CD I buy I almost immediately rip onto my computer. As for the car, I used a burnt CD because I don't like getting my CDs scratched up.
|
I still listen to CDs in my CD player. :yes I usually use my mp3 player when I go somewhere or when I listen music in the middle of the night (lol?), to not wake up my mom. I also listen to music on my PC, but I eventually burn it onto CD, to have more space. la la la
I couldn't listen to music with earphones 24/7... (It's not healthy. And I like to listen to music in good volume. hehe :P) |
Yes. I love my CD player.
|
i use my PC tolisten to mp3's,or i burn them onto a CD-RW and play themon myCD-MP3 player, so i can -put almost 200 songs on one disc.

Then again maybe the whole downloading thing isn't going that well - at least it isn't for me. I legally downloaded a few songs, costing a couple of pounds in total, only to find you can only play them on your PC. (although my friend says to copy it to CD and then rip it back to the computer, which I will try!) Anyway, what's the point in all this legal downloading if you can't play it on your mp3 player? Are legal downloads not around because so many people have mp3 players nowadays? Anyway, long live CD players! mi|kshake~ |
The only CD player I use is the one in my car. I'm not even sure where my portable one is, and I probably wouldn't use it if I did. I haven't really used it since I got my iPod 2 years ago, it's just more convenient.
