nononno... this is and old discussion...... koda´s algum deservs.... lol

Well, traditionally all three previous Japanese Hikki albums have beaten Ayu's...

Best albums, there's several artists that released those. I believe he was talking about Best albums in general.

tobygirl2020 7th December 2006 05:55 AM

Bleh, people need to stop complaining about best albums being at the top of the charts. No one will be complaining about it when Ayu releases a best album sometime in the future and does better than the original albums out there.

truehappiness 7th December 2006 06:50 AM

But they are at the top, and it's annoying to some people. :

Honestly, I don't think Ayu will be doing a best album any time soon, since she has like 5 years of material to cover, so I don't think that people will be all "yay best album" since one will probably not happen in the first place..

pbs1605 7th December 2006 07:19 AM

In the top 10.Very cool. Thanks for the info.

Calico 7th December 2006 08:08 AM

Wow, third best original album? That's pretty spiffy. Go Ayu!

And if there is an original album to beat MU, I'm glad that it's ULTRA BLUE. That was one of the very best albums this past year.

DA1SUK1DAY01691 7th December 2006 09:03 AM

Even though I thought ULTRA BLUE was weak on Utada standards, it was one of the best, as said before, this year.

I'm happy that Secret is 33rd, after one week, but dissapointed that the one week it really counts for next year won't be included. So hmm...

I think Koda's the craziest though. Releasing one mega hit BEST album, but then calling the next album after that a BEST? That to me is much more original album than BEST. I'm not mad, it's just weird that if it was labeled "BEST", more people will buy it. :/

extepan 11th December 2006 02:43 PM

number 8 isnt too too bad for (m)u. but it certainly can be better!

Mad_Cactuar 11th December 2006 02:49 PM

Wow, Hitoiro helped Mika move 1,000 copies for BEST this week. :eek And Secret did nothing for (miss)understood.

Amuro_Ray 11th December 2006 03:12 PM

Why there is no Ayu Japanese fans to help her to beat hikki? just few thousands only

BraiNz 11th December 2006 03:47 PM

"ULTRA BLUE" was sort of another "BEST" album for me.

Ayumi Hamasaki deserves more than she has.

:laugh You said it.

Anyway, #8's still not too bad I guess, even though it didn't manage to make it past a million.

jasjasss 11th December 2006 04:12 PM

i think we cant really see from the album chart
there are iTunes etc ! so i dont think ayu's popularity really gone down !
btw congratz to ayu

Will Ayumi ever beat Utada in anything...is there no end to the wonderful Utada? Only once, has Ayumi beat a person similar to Utada, her American-Counterpart, Utada.

=)

Anyway, I think Secret probably won't even hit 800k...but lets hope for the best.

And what a good ten year anniversary it would be...

"Ayumi Hamsaki" Final Farewell: Complete Single Collection

Frigging 50+ singles, that's a loot

slowmoth 11th December 2006 11:22 PM

but Secret is still charting right?

Album wise, Hikki's still 5 for 5. Single wise, Ayu has "beaten" Hikki.

cleftjuston 12th December 2006 05:14 AM

thanks for the info, i am glad for missunderstood

s1012h 12th December 2006 05:17 AM

ULTRA BLUE is one of the best albums i've heard this year
it's original, fresh, and experimental
one of a kind to me
so i wouldn't be surprised if it beat (miss)understood
then again utada ALWAYS beats ayu in terms of album sales
but Secret
drool
it's THE perfect album to end off 2006

kyomiayu 12th December 2006 10:25 AM

sad to see the result
