Actually, Ayu really is, indirectly at least. She is released now in the US with iTunes, and Europe digs her trance and house mixes. In the end, Ayumi is famous worldwide without her even needing to leave Japan. :)

But at least she's #2. With pretty low sales, might I add.

just a side note: i love how they spelled "sempre" wrong on the united world charts

EDIT: i love how i'm an idiot, the album is in spanish [not italian] "siempre" is a-okay.

I was kind of "Meh..." after seeing she's #2, but not soon after, I realized that THE BEATLES were #1 and Ayumi being #2 after The Beatles is not a bad thing at all.

ohsixthirty 8th December 2006 07:20 PM

"Still in their prime"? Are you crazy? Beatles will always be in their prime. And at least here in Brazil, the album had crazy big promotion. Plus, this United World Chart don't count the whole world sales, just very few countries with official charts (Countries in Europe, USA, Australia, Japan).

Lol. Madonna? They are MUCH higher than Madonna. I'm not saying Madonna isn't a big legend but she doesn't have a fraction of the Beatles' popularity.
