well; H/\L has always been good for Ayu; and tetsuya composed some of the nicest ayu-songs.. I don't see a problem.. except the fact that it's probably not a really 'refreshing' new genre or anything.

I don't mind the use of Hal or Tetsuya. But looking at the list of songs HAL has arranged, I definitely think their stronger works were in the first half of Ayu's career. None of the songs they have done recently are bad or anything, but they are sounding a bit stale I think. More so than bringing in new composers, I wish Ayu would try a few new arrangers - it could really bring a new perspective to her songs.

I agree. If she invites some new arrangers, I'm sure we can hear some new tunes.

(I'm not fluent in Japanese, and she uses alot of girly colloquialisms that I didn't understand, but that's the basic gist of it. Dictionary was used less here than usual, so i'm open to corrections from the likes of masa & evolusean :P)

thanks for the translation!

Ayu said it was fun recording the song, i hope it's not a cheesy song xD

ayu1m 1st February 2007 10:47 AM

Yea, another ballad, I'm happy :b thx for posting.

shippo 1st February 2007 10:54 AM

This akane always make this thing unattractive... :(

truehappiness 1st February 2007 10:57 AM

They do it so that the credit is given to them.

It's not like it's unreadable anyway.

simonlau 1st February 2007 11:01 AM

H/\L did good job
at least for Daybreak 2000H/\L remix

Dustie 1st February 2007 11:08 AM

^ ROTFL at your signature XDDD

Somehow I'm becoming curious of the new song. That's pretty bad. It's still a month left until the A BEST... don't want to be impatient.

I like HALs songs, despite they get worn off pretty quickly...

alternarist 1st February 2007 11:35 AM

haha regardless of the arranger/composer.. its a good thing that there is a new song! :D

Mirai Noah 1st February 2007 04:57 PM

Thanks for the info! I look forward to hearing the new song!

Delirium-Zer0 1st February 2007 07:24 PM

simonlau: I didn't understand the "SUMASUMA" katakana :P Never been a smap fan, is that like a fan nickname for them? Does this mean she's doing Love Love Aishteru today? Still confused... should I just edit my post to say "SMAP SMAP recording"?

immel 1st February 2007 07:47 PM

Looking forward to hearing it, I don't care very much about who arranged or composed it, the final result is more important.

YuriChan 1st February 2007 08:29 PM

I would like to hear it too. ^_^ (Hopefully, it's a ballad like HEAVEN! :D)
